@MrHorsetail The inverter is used to charge the lawn mower's 36v battery. In the last video or near the last video I will explain how the entire project works, from an operator's standpoint. Meaning, when you flip this switch what happens...etc.
Keep 'em coming! I would recommend vibration protection by mounting the components on foam and/or velcro. Better yet, mount the entire enclosure on a nice thick foam pad secured with velcro. Nice work Robert! Very clean.
I would put on one side of box and negative on the other. The other thought is to transmit power details to your controller. It may be helpful to know if your mower will run out of power on the other side of the yard.
You could also mount an AC outdoor outlet on the case to have a remote power source when needed. Beats extension cords.
If that thing could stand up on two wheels and rake the yard it would be awesome. Great video, what is the inverter for?
