i had strange event with kundalini. when i started to feel magnetic push and pull, i asked for it to draw the most perfect thing in existance, and for the next many months, i been placing all these marks on my floor, which shocked me when i saw a bunch of arcs ligning up. which i later found to be the serpant on a book of kundalini. and a year or 2 later, i woke up and felt as though my back was on fire.
i open all of my 7th chakras then i do the differrent hand formation to open the diffenrent chakras i do that one from the hand sign of SACRAL chakra 2 crown chakra then i try 2 open kundalini n my arms and legs is shaking until i fell down
then my eyes closed after that i fell im out of my body
I have noticed a disparity between a god realized guru and a simple clairvoyant. The guru is capable of leading while if someone is merely clairvoyant they can not lead a soul to liberation. peace*
And one shouldn't take such meetings lightly. If someone relates a story about Babaji appearing to them in a dream or vision, or perhaps, in flesh, see if their Will is indomitable. If it is, don't treat it lightly. Norm Paulsen was visited by Babaji and taught a different version of Kriya, but it was by purpose, the intention of the Mahavatar.
Babaji is Lord. His "spiritual jurisdiction" lies outside kriya yoga. Like Christ, he has no particular religion.
One cannot open the sushumna channel, unless they become pure inside. So, no matter what you imagine and how much you try, it will not work unless you live a pure life.

For you who find thoughts disturbing during meditation: Realize that you are a human being and that human beings have thoughts. There is nothing you can do about it. everything you try to do about it just amplifies your frustration and nurishes the thoughts even more. just see that the thoughts are there and move on. I dont know if i have awakened kundalini, but i have been celebate for some months and i feel like im always inside a energy field of peace but the thought have gotten really intense and disturbing im very scared very afraid especially of facing angry people, i feel like im some sort of prey and some preditor is always lurking in the bushes waiting for me
It can be a facility you are born with. It is not at all necessarily an awakening of the Kundalini: that normally only happens after years and years of practising Yoga. But some people are simply born with an 'opening' somewhere in their being, just like some people have an inborn ability for music or mathematics. The only important thing is not to be afraid. If you are able to feel a certain glow or light in the middle of the cheast, than it is good if you concentrate on that.
I have few books on "how to awake kundalini" but there is a warning that one should not awake kundalini by reading books ,but should refer to teacher/master ,because it's harmful for the physical body, all comments and clarification are welcome on my email.
even Yogananda states the ever-alluring mountains of the east as being just mountains. i live in boulder, CO and they remind so many of Katmandu. to me they are just a reminder of the unmoving essence within, if that could be anymore new-aged. The isolation may just cause greater doubt than any true spiritual revelation. ultimately language and mountains are inadequate.

I have to argue that a whether or not a true master produces realized disciples is up to the disciples and not the master. If all his disciples lived in an ashram or in caves then maybe that would be a different story. But Gurunath teaches mostly to modern house-holders, with jobs, family etc. with limited time to practice.
