  • Bewitched by Candlemass, check the video out Dead from Mayhem and Morbid makes a cameo apperience in it

  • dreads are more natural than normal hair so your no less human, thats a stupid thing to say anyways stop being so judgmental. and dreads are very clean. i wash mine every day.

  • damn man, the dreads were looking sweet, what made you change your mind about them?

  • dey wer shitty anyway

  • Dreads are hard to maintain, I prefer the long metal hair look.

    Btw, awesome shirt.

  • that is so true!! Well the maintaining part.

  • an epic way to go man

  • Babylon

  • What kind of shampoo were you using? I ran out of peppermint bronners, so I ordered citrus and it smells kinda girly. Just wondering what other kinds of natural soap there is :)

  • shea butter shampoo smells sooo goood on guys and girls

  • oh, no, you combed!?

  • Hey, nice dreads (before). Are the back ones combed out now? Did your hair get thinner when you combed it?

  • yea all my dreads are out now..and yes my hair was in quite bad condition after i took them out...but a short trimming and good care of my hair and now its very healthy again ...and very long

  • That was painful to watch! bet you were gutted! im really attatched to mine now, since it took so long to dread!

  • after you took them out how long did it take for your hair to fill in the parts that kind of grew weird and kind of made your hair look thin??? I was just wondering for when I take mine out. Next year and theyre out. Then off to a new pair!!!

  • after my girlfriend cut all the unhealthy parts off my hair then i waited about half a year maybe and my hair looked perfectly healthy :)

  • and how are you take them out?

  • Hey guess what.. You're hot... I love your hair.. And good choice of music.

  • your hair is so awesome

  • its called the vow of the nazarite

  • what is that?i was just wonderind cause im geting dreads soon.

  • Nice hair, bit more than half the length of my boyfriend's.

  • i have got to see his hair

  • You have incredible patience and high pain tolerance. For me dreadlocks is a spiritual experience but when people have them for fashion its okay too. Either way it takes a lot of work to keep dreadlocks nice and clean and even. Its a discipline in its self.

  • Mine are always clean and it doesn't take that long at all, their easy to keep nice!! they are mighty neater and tighter than hers thou. I don't use anything but dread soap, I don't even use wax, and the more I wash them the tighter they get so there is no need for wax anymore. I have even brushed out about ten it took me a 2 days but it didn't heart, I just used coconut oil. If my dreads ever got like hers I'd brush them out too. But I love mine :)

  • Hers?

    Do you mean "his" ?

  • hahaha.. i gues so?

  • hers? do you mean like "him"?

  • nice...i prefer the un natural dreads i think. though lol

  • great fucking song

  • ur fault :()

  • your fault

  • lol im looking foreward to comb mine XD...im kiddin :D

  • what a pain full experience

  • So you can actually undo dreadlocks?!

    nice!

  • Candlemass ha nice

  • ...Do'h...You should have left them...

  • how did u get them out exactly?

  • alot of combing...hair by hair....ohh my poor girlfriend lol

  • tasty i want to chew on you and your lucious hair.

  • Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • Do you think he is going to eat that box of cereal with soda instead of milk?

  • u can comb out dreads?

  • You look like Varg Vikernes.

  • besides he don't like Irom Maden xD

  • you should leave the dreds in back it looks tight man

  • 4 thumbs down = not tight >>deathbysaw

  • Aww, you took them out?

    They had potential! :(

    Candy

  • i dont really like how neglect method dreadlocks look though... I'd say that if you had curly, like african kind of hair and just let it grow for 3 years it'd be more knotty. If you have like straight hair i think its best to get get them done with wax n stuff

  • Candlemass - fitting finish.

Can't you see the devil in me?

Just take a look in my dreads!

    I will comb for you

This wicked hair on my head!

It's magic will reach for your scalp.

  • Please ignore how exceptionally clever I am.

  • lmfao..great stuff

  • Lolz

  • This is by far the most useful thing i have yet to learn about taking care of my dreads!

    much thanks- Tobias

you should post any other ideas

  • i back combed and waxed them in dont recemend it it suck to get them out if u want to!!!!!!

that is the lagit way to do itttt

  • u look like a fucking girl

  • thx...sex?

  • I completely disagree. You look nothing like a girl... I think you look incredibly hot! The dreads were awesome man!

  • Man, looks pretty damaged at the ends, it will probably look better with proper grooming and daily washing though.

  • Sun, perhaps? :P

  • go to english class dawg.

  • lol

  • ahha this is fuckin hardcore.. ive got long ass hair like down to my hips and im tempted to get some dreads but im really afraid that 1, ill have to cut it all off eventually and 2, of it gettin real nasty near the root.

i pretty much dont brush it but once every week or every two weeks. and wash it like every 3+ days. im afraid to commit hahah.. twas awesome tho man. nice..

  • holy shit thos would be some sick ass dreads, you should apsofucknlutly do it.but the first 2 months kind of sucks till you relise"this stuff is going to look shity for awhile"then you just dont care and the time flys by and there looking better every week!

  • wow you proved my mate wrong you can brush out dreads

  • were there a lot of hairfall and hair breakage when u undreaded it?

  • i'm sure...i did to when i combed it out after three months then tried again by going natural...I made a hairball out of the hair that got combed out of my hair. :-)

  • you have short hair dude, you dont have the right to advice people about this, lolol

  • you haven't even seen my latest video now have you? I keep telling you that but you won't listen. I'm posting a new video soon, and I plan on keeping them a LONG time. so yes I do have a say, I've researched a lot about the locks...bug off.

  • you have short hair dude, you dont have the right to advice people about this, lolol

  • i loved it more with the dreadlocks!

    but u'r a metalman sow respect! X

  • Did bob marley basically use the same process as you? no wax just dont comb it?

  • yes

  • you inspired me to go natural, plus because of your guidance to KL, it's gotten me into trying dreadlocks naturally after being disappointed twice from backcoming+wax...that was a nightmare.

  • you dont need wax, that just hold the hair togeather plus water and shit, wich over time will equal mould. fuck wax, and david its a shame that there gone, the kl missis ya.

  • sweet tshirt o yeah and good dreads

  • so my hair is kinda curley (wavy really) and about 4 inches long. i use a natural shampoo and shower about everyday or every other and my hair just doesn't dread what-so-ever. any tips?

  • Wait a year or so.

  • I remember watching your vids last year, Why do you only have dreads in the front now?... BTW, badass song.

  • ah becuase i want strait hair now...so i comb out...now i have no dreadlocks

  • Awh, weak, dreads are so awesome!

  • how did you comb that out!! That is impossible! so I thought.

  • took a very very long time...few weeks

  • damn it must a too

  • the trick to getting dreads really fast

Dont wash ur hair after ur hair gets to be 3/4 and inch off ur head

-dont comb it, after your hair is long enough u should begine to twist it into dreads so that the tips form up

-dont continue to twist the dreads after that anymroe if u want the natural ones, if not then just continue to twist and ur gunna get clean ones that dont stick together

    -NEVER comb ur hair

  • Or, don't be a dumbass, and use the back comb method, use dread wax, use residue free shampoo and wash at least once a week.

  • wax is evil. and so is shampoos with harmful chemicals...I should know, I went through it twice, and it didn't work. Don't tell me I did something wrong, because I read EVERYTHING on that stupid dreadhead site, and nothing would help it, except comb it out. Now I'm going natural, and I've never been happier. Plus, i get to wash it! that's a change. :-)

  • You get to wash your hair with the backcombing method, but in todays world people can't neglect their hair without having problems because of it (employment, school, etc)

  • for the most part that is true. I haven't had any trouble with my current job, and they know I am continuing to grow mine naturally. :-)

  • Yeah but when you're out there job hunting even having long hair makes it tough (i have long hair myself and i'm getting dreadlocks sometime soon). Not everyone is as open minded as your boss might be.

  • actually I am quite fortunate, the entire corporation is like that. they call it "Diversity" or "Promoting Diversity"

  • Ah, more ignorance. Wax is 1) disgusting in the way it feels 2) attracts dirt 3) melts into the dread and gets stuck inside (yup, go search for some pics) 4) hinders the locking process, as dreads are knots and knots are created by movement. Also, wash once a week? How about once a day? Letting your hair get oily is another great way to keep your hair from dreading. Wash as often as you need to.. GOD. >:0 Stop believing DHHQ shit-they are trying to SELL A PRODUCT.

  • DONT EVEN Think of trims or hair cuts

    IT ruins the dreads

CONDITIONAr will ruin the dread even more then a hair cut cause of the stuff that is it to straighten

    last but not least

    WAIT

hit me up on Xbox life

    AZ squared

  • im 35 and had dreads most my life....they look like yours when they were nappy and nutural.

i never combed it out tho...I either have dreads or a shaved head...the in between suks.

my gf is 31 and hasnt cut her hair since 5th grade, and has had dreads for 14 years now....(dreads that I formed when her hair was long)....those wont comb out.

  • :) tré mimi ! mé les dread font crade la...

  • those were some rachet dreds id hate mine to be natural grown

  • Man... I've been growing my dreads for almost a month now, I use a residue free shampoo and wash my hair every day. Do you have any tips for me?

  • Wash less often, you have to give them time to knot and dry up. I've had dreads for over a year and I wash once every couple of weeks

  • god! wtf

  • Some people lock for all the wrong reasons...locks are not for everyone

  • ...love your hair both ways.

    <3

  • whoa, its cool without the dreds too!

  • what does your hair look like without the dreads can you make a video of it

  • hmm didnt think about it tbh...maybe il make a vid after xmas :)

  • you got red of them noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

  • did you wash your hair when you was making dreadlocks ?

  • yea few times a week

  • how long does it take to get rid of em? and how lol.. it looks kinda painful lol

  • that gives me hope for a bright future. by how my locks are doing, it feels like they won't get as big like yours were, but I think they will. :-)

  • NEWS!...no more dreadlocks..ive taken them all out

  • those were some bad ass dreads, and mad props for taking them out rather than just cutting/shaving.

  • iron maiden!!!!1

  • I bet that really hurt trying to get those out

  • this shit makes me sad, why, WHY WHYYYYYYY

  • Business up front, party in the back lol

  • did you comb your dreads out?

  • My hair use to look like that

evnetually i combed them out and conditioner

at the momennt i have a thick one and few small ones that i palm roll

  • then you didn't have dreads you dumb fuck. you can't comb them out!

  • they can be detangled over many hours dumb cunt. lol

  • yes they can..i had dreadlocks for 18 months and i combed them all out...took a few weeks and alot of conditioner

  • golden nuggets rule

  • lmao good eye

  • :O

    wow..

    i think i'm in love :P

  • PSEUDO !!!!

  • In respect, it would have been better to not have done dreads in the first, to have them combed out in little more than a years time. Now your hair just looks worn out, combing does that damage over time eventually. It would be better to just restart the growing process.

  • Continuing...Comb/brushing is one of the worst things to do to hair(it breaks down the shaft structure)from experience with long hair(and lots of reading). Only brush if in absolute need. I never brush/comb my hair. I only use my fingers to separate any small knots I catch. I hope I was able to help some.

  • I'm almost sad to see them go.

  • you inspired me, my hair was twice as long as yours at the end of this video so im going to not cut my hair for like the rest of the school year and then start the dread processes

  • ah man, you know that congo will suck major balls trying to get that out. :-P

  • man, that fat one looks like a deformed claw....and congrats on not pulling out all of your hair, trying to brush your locks out. I admit I'm a wimpy girl, and if mine ever come out is going to be with a pair of scissors. :)

  • damn dude, you got some thick ass hair! i posted my timeline on dreadlocks forum. check it..

  • wow now that i think of it, combing that out doesnt even look possible! man that musta hurt like hell

  • What was the motivation for combing out the sides?

Still looks awesome at the back though, kudos to you man ;]

  • well im combing all of it out...i just havent combed out the back yet...
