One of my neighbours had this assault rifle during his

years at the eastern front. He said it was heavy when

it was loaded, around 5kg but very effective till 400

meters. All other war parties were surprised what this

might be till they found out. lol

@TheInGenCO well, the foregrip is completely different. the bolt design and the gas system are different, the ammunition is different, the stock is different, the sights are different, the receiver is different, and the magazine catch is different. in what way are they similar?

@stergios6 the point is, the AK-47 was designed by Michael Kalashnikov, who had absoloutely no knowledge, or very little of other automatic weapon designs, his first gun was a complex full auto submachine gun. He change the design and added the intermediate cartridge designed by people who HAD knowledge on the StG44. So although his rifle is an assault rifle, it was not influenced by the Stg, it was influenced by the Fedorov Avtomat, a full auto battle rifle, like the M14. yes stg was first, so?
