  • I used to be a big dude to, i started running and pushed myself into better shape, because all that stuff ain't gonna do you any good if you can't run with it on your back. Cardio is Key. also if your hanging from a ledge or a rock wall and you can pull yourself up that can be a big problem. Take a Bookbag and put 50lbs in it and Workout with that on your back, trust me when the Shit hits the fan...youl thank me.

  • If I could recomend a good fire starter to replace that bulky bag you have there of starter material. I saw a thing years back that I have used ever since and that is a 35mm film cantainer (if you can find one) stuffed with saw dust that has been soaked in a fuel of some sort. I use white gas or diesel and it works great.

  • You might want to reconsider the plastic bag over the sleeping bag. I assume you're using the plastic bag so that you can keep the sleeping bag dry, but I've made that mistake before and found my bag torn and falling apart right off the bat. What you really want it a water proof sleeping bag-bag, that is designed to sinch up. You can find them at REI. :)

  • Is this serious? Its funny, and silly, but he almost seems like he intends to make sense!

  • I like how he has ID w/ him.

That way I know whose heart I'm eating when SHTF.

Lol. All jokes aside, this is a pretty cool video.

  • Great vid. A lot of the stuff you mentioned I kinda neglected to even consider. Keep it up

  • bring some magazines incase u get bored

  • You see what u do is

    1. Go to a forest or mountain before the nwo starts.

    2. Walk on all fours so u look like an animal if the drones see you so they wont know ur human.

    3. Dig a huge ass hole somewhere so u can hide all the time until u feel they arent searching for anymore people.

    4. Fuck animals and repopulate :D

  • I really like the beginning of your videos! They're always so entertaining!!!!

  • don forget property defense, IE: punji stakes, trip wires with bells), keep a small portion of your wood chopped and by your house, unchopped wood is harder for a thief to take away. block out all light from your house with blankets (assuming you have back up power), when the gov comes by to confiscate your arms, BURY THEM! say you sold them for food ;)

  • i like your choice in guns, i am a fan of the glock 21 but i prefer the glock 19. it is 9mm and can hold more rounds. its also more compact than the 21. yes the stomping power of the 45 is amazing but if you put 2 9mm rounds in someone or a single well placed round in the chest. theyre not gettin up.

great vid and keep them coming!

  • oh cant forget some of patriotnurse's advice: got medications for fever, cholera/diarrhea, and upper respiratory infections. need something for keeping babies quiet cuz the titty dont always work. and no im not pushing drugs, i hate taking medications and avoid it at all costs, but im afraid i may not have a choice

  • extra gloves, socks, underwear, feminine sanitary napkins (cloth). oh, i have a pen too! dont remember all the other stuff though. hubby has the man-gear in his bug-out bag. and we been getting in shape. but now im fat and pregnant.

  • first aid, swaddling cloth, socks, markers, tie-downs, whatever. i also have scissors and a bottle of vodka for first aid. sewing kit. rope. more rope. food: nuts, prunes (dont wanna get constipated), protein bars, nasty potato flakes, salt, sugar (i have diabetes), coffee (for look-out duty), vitamins, etc. i have matches, candles, firestarters, soap, soap, oil (i have diabetes), an extra pair of shoes, little pocket knife (need to update that), enamel bowl (can cook in it) and wood spoon...

  • ok. so i finished watching the video. your bug-out bag looks a lot like mine. to me, it makes sense, cuz these other videos have people showcasing their "bug-out bags" and all they got is 5 differrent types of knives, some guns, some ammo, and a whole bunch of pots, and dumb shit they cant keep up with if the shtf. well, the only exception btw mine and yours is i have a lot more clothing and cloth. this is because A) we live in MI and B) I am preggers. the cloths is versatile. it can be used as

  • hi there. i hope you are getting yourself fit and healthy too. not to offend you, but can you outrun your wife (if you have one)?

  • Hi I'm Al Rocker.

  • Is that bag full of ho-ho's by chance???

  • Wow! Thanks for posting this video. I've just begun looking into preparing for the unknown. Sad but true. I have a food that I've stored just from couponing but I never considered what could happen because of the economic breakdown. It's definitely overwhelming but it's (past) time fo me to jump on the bandwagon...

  • Great vid. Sure people can buy a fancy NorthFace backpack but the pack you have is better than none. Like trailjunky points out a fancy pack is the price of quite a bit of food or even...a Remington 870.

  • Stock up on ammo because if the shtf no one will sell any to you trust me. I have'nt heard anyone in any video say there stocking up on cash and im not talking about in the bank. If shtf and you do need to buy something its going to take cash. I just pray it never happens.

  • Everybody! Stop Posting Gun,Gear,Survival,S.H.T.F., And Other Vids Like Those. A Bill Was Passed Police Have Been Given Military Authority To Arrest U.S. CIVILIANS Without Trial Or Reason Because The "WAR ON TERROR" It's Been Said If You're A Suspect They Can Arrest. By Posting Vids You May Be Seen As A Terrorist Just A Warning

  • @queersackofshit says queersackofshit hahaha

  • Not trying to be a smartass, but your bag looks old....you should get a new one man

  • @turayde Really? If its not broken why replace it?

  • @trailjunky well to each their own, but I know they're are better options available. An old backpack might not be broken, but it may not have as much padding, or accessories as a new one. . . . and if your preparing for the worst you should get something that is going to last and be effective. I'm just saying think about trading in the old for the new, it doesn't have to be broken. Just my two cents.

  • @turayde I have been a hiker for almost twenty years. I have a backpack very similar to the one in DEMCAD's video that I used in scouting. Its still very functional after all these years. I actually have a variety of packs, with my largest being an internal frame expedition size pack that cost $350. My point is that if your a person that's new to the preparedness movement watching this video your money would be better spent on food, ammo, etc., than an expensive shiny new pack.

  • @trailjunky that's a valid point, don't fix what's not broken. When I did Search And Rescue, we packed items in our backpacks that would last us for 72 hours, and we had to depend on them in the wilderness. Getting a tear through which items may fall out could be a life changer. If I need to 'bug out' or leave my residence for an extended amount of time, I want to know my backpack is going to be a reliable one. Ammo, food, first aid etc, will be worthless if the bag isn't solid.

  • Really great setup man all the same stuff i have in my bag thanks for the post.

  • Very helpful vid. One other thing that may be very helpful is establishing a physical fitness routine, with some cardio and light weight training. If you were in a tough situation you would need to have the stamina to travel long distances on foot.

  • A lot of folks START with a "gear list" when they should be considering skills, training and planning (FIRST) ... If you have not attemped a REALISTIC bugout drill ... short notice ... at night ... with a clear destination and an evasive route (pre-planned). I would focus on an ultra-light 22LR and forget about center-fire options, due to weight constraints. Best of luck (YOU are going to need a LOT of it).

practice SKILLS ... Medical procedures, HERE. on YouTube.

  • Lol u snap at the end ( byyee) lol at least ur trying give you props

  • I've been watching your channel for a while and really enjoy it. Keep up the good work!

  • its glad to see a brother thats into prepping. your on your way to becoming an expert keep it up bro

  • I first started watching these shtf, bug out, survival videos about a year ago. I thought they was hilarious and quite entertaining I even thought some of the people was flat out nuts. Then a light started to come on Japan quake I bet those people wish they had a 3 day supply. Joplin Mo. and one of the worst tornado out breaks in history. Hurricane Irene. Turkey quake. Not laughing any more I stay in the gym now just have to get supplies. Good job teaching about preparation.

  • @burtonb30 Yes thats right and Kissinger has a knob to dial in any kind of disaster at any time and in any country. Just depend on his sense of humor at the time. Lately his Fav. is Tsunamis. He can dial one up turn on the set and watch the shennanigans. Seriously though; you had better get ready and remember you cant help anyone else till you save yourself first!

  • Fitness is also extremely important for survival. You need to be able to get your BOB in a hurry and keep moving as far and as fast as you can.

  • Good vid, but you might want to get a backpack manufactured in this century lol

  • Do NOT use super clue to close a cut that stuff is poison put some surgical strip or suture kit. colloidal silver great antibotics for both internal and external use cuts, ear infection, eye infection cuts, etc

  • Good video Man and I was glad to see you have that folding saw.

  • Hey Buddy hello from Tulsa OK. I could see you keep something to start a fire with may I suggest you keep a small bag of Cheetos they are a good snack if necessary and great for starting a fire because they are very flammable.

  • Super glue is the first thing I reach for when I'm cut. It was designed for treating open wounds on a combat field, it is one of the most sterile items on the face of the planet.

  • here comes the collapse...

  • dang thats an oldie but goody i have that same exact pack same color and everything i love it. i usually have a wool blanket with a tent and hammock and rope attached at the base.

one of these days ill make a video. btw what part of the US are you in.

    nice job.

  • @Demcad. Why do you have a passport in your bug out bag? Me personally I'm not leaving this country....its the banksters that need to leave

  • A Glock and a Mossberg. Two solid choices. Also important that the weapons are a common caliber so ammo will be easier to find down the line if you run low.

  • Nice video, I was confused with the ear plugs at first, but I know the noise warfare the gov't can use to control groups of people. I didn't think of that.

  • Good job!

  • Loved it. Great video.

  • Everyone should buy Cheap alarm systems for your doors off Ebay, they cost around $1.26 with free shipping.. I plan on using them for my door incase a lock picker breaks into my house silently. WE ALL GATTA SLEEP SOMTIME! Cheap independant Alarm sensors are a very very good idea.

  • God bless you and yours DEMCAD.

  • what's that stuff u make the fire with? it like orange-brown color u pulled out??? and what kind of water filter/source do u have in that bag?

  • u r very informative...im glad i discovered ur videos

  • This is the ULTIMATE ghetto bug out bag!

  • ATTENTION ATENTION HE LOOKS LIKE THE GAY FLIGHT ATTENDANT FROM SOUL PLANE LMMFAO HHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH LOL

  • Good job. You have hit on several items that most prepers do not mention like toilet paper.

  • Very fine video, thank you!

  • @DEMCAD do you have a family wife childern , how do we work them into the the plan

  • Now you sir, are prepared ! Lol

  • al rokers buggin out hahaha

  • he could eat himself if the shtf haha

  • Psssttt! Cotton Balls and Vaseline is the ultimate fire starter. Rub cotton in Vaseline until nicely loaded put in paper egg cartons, cut appart and store in a plastic bag. . 2-4 balls with small kindling will get your fire going fast even in wet conditions.

  • Nice Bug Out Bag. I have failed to set one up yet, mainly because I plan to Bug In. However it's not a bad idea to set one up you have inspired me. Thumbs up and a new subscriber.

  • hey demcad, looks like you got a good set up.i just started mine.i have the camelbak 3 day tactical molle bag with attachable medical kit and a magnesium stick thats all i can afford for now...like the vids

  • are you the guy trying to sell this on craigslist? now i know exactly who you are and where you live.

  • Your BUGOUT bag is almost EXACTLY the same as mine! Whoa. I packed everything in bags too. I even have the same water filter. Got the multitool, firestarters, snake bite kit, sewing kit, TP, towel, toothpaste and mini toothbrush. I also went to a Japanese market and got a thin square metal grill for putting over a fire. And a mini plastic washboard for clothes. Also got some small soap bars from vitacost that you can use as shampoo. My flashlight is solar though. I got a Coleman fishing pen tho

  • Nice

Add a pepsi can style alcohol stove.

  • You should get a MOLLE bag with a camelback water pouch. (Think i got that right)

  • you can tell this guy DOES NOT get laid. yikes.

  • Demcad, i am telling you, buy one of those small steel slingshots, great for small game hunting. and very cheap.

  • Demcad doesn't care about the weather...

  • Great video !!!! you are soooooo right . Its NOT about fear . Its a very common sense way of looking at things .And I heard it said " store what you eat and eat what you store " A good survival manual would help too . The Bible and small flashlight sealed in a milar bag !

  • A small bottle of alcohol based hand sanitizer will help you keep your hands clean, without having to use precious drinking water. I like your videos man...you've got some good ideas, and the right frame of mind to survive what's coming. Might I also suggest acquiring a CDV-742 dosimeter, and CDV-750 dosimeter charger so you can measure your exposure to radioactive fallout. They're only a few bucks on Ebay. Also, some potassium iodide tablets would be good to have in your B.O.B.

  • Lol that's the dirtiest backpack i ever seen!

  • THE 2nd amendment is the only LAW that pertain to firearms

  • go to kfc and ask for their little hand sanitizer packages. get maybe 2 or 3 every visit. add them to ur med. kit and you might have like 20 afteer a few visits. thats stuffs probably gonna be nice barter item if shtf

  • Good video, Good supplies and gear!

  • Dryer lint for starting fires, I try to reduce the weight of my bug out bags. My prepping includes solar panels ,power inverters,Wind generators. Last thing I want to do is travel anywhere. I'm prepping for people coming to the farm, I've got like 9 BOB's, The ammo stored is in the 1,000's of rounds. .22 cal ammo is the lightest, The remmington 870 is a better shot gun, I would recommend 9mm/ and .223 cal, because Nato uses these. I'll use the .22 cal for hunting others for defense.

  • what brand is the flashlight/radio? thanks

  • Never thought about ear plugs

  • What if I'm too young to buy a gun. What then?

  • @randomlymadevids then you die!

  • @policeandtheves hahaha

  • @randomlymadevids sex slavery probly!

  • @randomlymadevids Don't worry there will be a lot on the ground when it all starts just sit back and wait, trust me you will come across one.

  • @LegendCorridor HA the last thing a new world would need would be a GOD

  • @LegendCorridor Too many people have died in the name of your god.

  • atleast your ready for anything that happens... good video.

  • Thank you for sharing!! Great information. Not being prepared is like taking a boat ride without a life jacket. Boat may or may not sink, but best to be safe and prepared for sure just in case it does sink! Smart!

  • @LegendCorridor can I have your stuff when you're gone?

  • @vinegaroon1 yes you may:-)

  • dude,. you are soooo ghetto,.. buy a real bug out bag, and the food you have in your room,. that looks like your daily diet!! dude,. who are you fooling? your a fake prepper that just makes speculation videos!!

  • you are to fat to survive, sorry, but thats the hard truth, better go in the gym.

  • There is no need to prep. You all are wasting your time and money. The government will take care of us in a SHTF situation. Plus we have technology. This isn't the frickin stone ages. Obama promised us prosperity.

  • I must say you have it together, this being said most people think you need this or that, keep n mind nobodies fully prepped. If we was we would have our house and belongings on our back. All these questions were would you go etc. That you might want to consider. South i guess Michigan is cold Next they mentioned i think is a death sentence. Neighbors friends, this is a mistake they will kill you if they had to avoid letting them know what you have. As a fellow chunky guy your awesome

  • You are on the right track but you need to lose that gut. If the SHTF it will get in your way. Get some workout DVDs and DO THEM. You don't have a lot of time to prepare!

  • Al Roker?

  • evry nigga loves hes glock

  • @GRideBounca This gentleman is a good guy. Your words say more than enough about. I'm a white guy btw, I say this is a good guy.

  • Not bad man, that's basically about the weight I'm trying to stay on, but I just have way too many stuff. And evrything I have, is essential, so I can't really leave none behind..

  • someones just gonna come steal your shit,so whats the point

  • Great video!

  • Lots of great info. Well stock B O B.

  • Who in the hell in in the background taking a piss! Damn he was full!!!!

  • love the info bro...id love to get a group together an trade ideas an techniques. we need more brothers that think long term an not just that the army or gov will just come an save them in a shtf situation.

  • you are carring way to much. surival kit is the bear minimum to survive, if this was by British army standards you'd be looking to take all that on a holiday, not as a back up survival kit.

  • that is some sorry ass gear that pack would kill you just lugging it

  • I wouldnt go with a pen... I would use a few pencils and a small sharpener. A pen will run if the writing gets wet, a pencil wont. Pencil sharpener can be used to sharpen sticks and the shavings can be used to start a fire too.

  • HAHA, you people are so fucking sad.

    Economical Disaster? BWAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAHHA

    Get a life morons

  • @SerbianEagleCCCC I cant believe I'm dignifying 13+ "HA";s with a response. Fukashima, Eastlake CA fires, New Orleans, Haiti, any number of 3rd world countries which loose 50k-100K+ in earthquakes, and on and on. You are like the dope who says he doesnt need a fire extinguisher because the firemen will save him, or that he doesnt need car insurance because he'll never get in a wreck. Being prepared is more than just awaiting martial law from a crazed president. It could be anything.

  • @xmorg

    Yawn,

Watch out there is an alien behind you.

    Wake up you fucking muppet

  • @SerbianEagleCCCC Right cause all the Muppets in japan are not having to stand in a line to get food because they had a bug out bag? (source: BBC --> world-asia-pacific-12759840 ) all the muppets in San Diego County who avoided a new Orleans style disaster when the wildfires hit, and there was so many supplies donated that they had to tell people to stop? Yea, I'm really scared of that alien behind me, you should be too.

  • Demcad you are brilliant. I love the shovel.

But I know that a gamma r@y bur$t is coming in the next year -2yrs after 3 days of darkness, where electrical items will not work; due to +ve ion overload. You need more candles and blankets & more food. Gas heater & stove & composting toilet & loo rolls.

Keep bottles lower, as there is going to be Globeshake too & they could shake off the table.

    Peace.

  • Nice video man! Maybe when the shtf we will run into each other and I'll be like "HEY! You're that guy from youtube!"

  • nice video keep up the good work

  • Thanks, hats off to you. Good common sense video.

  • Preparing for a SHTF = shit hits fan,or polar SHIFT. a polar shift will kill all above and most likely below the in caves and sutch like,as the mantel will crush and burn those below. The only safe ??? place will maybe in the water,if u have a sealed ship submarine type survival unit ( ARK ).

  • I have the same flashlight and I can tell you that the red light is good because it is invisible to most nocturnal animals. A red flashligt will also not affect night vision of those around you. Try some night siting in a small room with that light on and red. Wait 10 min, then turn it off and step out into your yard with all the lights out. Nice video.

  • you DO NOT want ID or anything that can identify you in a SHTF situation. Those who would ask for them are the enemy. Wise up

  • @purity4all......Better late than never. You are thinking right.

  • I like you man, you have a good heart. Maybe we will cross paths someday!

  • I like your kit!

Nice bag those old bog can do the job!

  • Thank you for such a well done video

  • The sad thing is in Detroit our black(Israelites) people dont think about things like this or just dont care.

  • @biglj822009 YOUR RIGHT, THEIR ARE SOME ISRAELITE MILITIAS IN DETROIT THAT BEEN READY FOR THE PAST 10 YEARS, 1/3 IS STRONG AND WILL SURVIVE,2/3 WILL JUST KILL EACH OTHER OFF.

  • @biglj822009 ANOTHER THING IS THAT THEIR IS A BIGGER THREAT LIVING IN THE CITIES. WHEN SHTF THEY WILL QUARANTINE DETROIT , LIKE THEY DID KATRINA IN NEW ORLEANS, F.E.M.A HAS A PLAN WHERE THEY WILL QUARANTINE CITIES BY SHUTTING DOWN COUNTIES NEXT WHEN DISASTER HITS. SO YOU REALLY WANNA LOOK AT FAR WEST MICHIGAN OR THE UPPER PENINSULA , LIVE BY FRESH RESOURCES , GET OUT OF WAYNE COUNTY. SCARY THING IS THEIR ARE BLACK MEN I CAME ACROSS THAT SAID THERE NOT GONNA PREPARE NOTHING BUT JUST TAKE OTHERS

  • @biglj822009 AND THAT ALONE IS SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT, WHEN THAT TIME COMES I WOULD BE IN THAT MACCABBEES MENTALITY, YAHAWAH WILL RENEW OUR STRENGTH.....

  • Forget the tent, just extra unnecessary weight. Instead buy a tarp and practice setting it up. Also try getting more organized. For example, get three stuff-sacks for sleeping bag, clothes bag, and food bag. Finally create a possibilities bag which will include your medical/first aid, lighters, t-pee, soap, etc.

  • very nice setup you have man

  • i know i sound stupid but im 14 and i think SHTF preperation is very important, so anyone who says this preperation is stupid can shut up because if something really does happen they are screwed.

  • awesome job Demcad, thanks for sharing this video.

  • I reckon ask some iraqis, afghans or Vietnamese they've had some shtf experience..hey Americans?

  • Hey Demcad and everyone watching i suggest you get a "waterblade" to add to your BOB. Google it. if your bugging out in an urban scenario you can collect water in the am from the dew that will be all over cars. the waterblade gathers it up nicely and just aim it to your cup or canteen. You will never go without water doing the dew trick!

  • Dude. This is the best video you have done. The info people want to know. The reason you have thousands of subscribers. You are a very interesting person. Do more videos like this. I already know the news headlines. I don't care about the headlines. Talk about the future beloning to those who prepare for it. Give me walks with your B.O.B., A day at the range. Talk to us as Reginal. We love you my brother that's another color. Keep up the great work.

  • SAS members usually carry up to 125 pounds;)

  • idk why i feel like "the book of eli" is your favorite movie.

  • ima get my jet pack ready.. :z

  • I commented before I saw the sling on the shotgun...ignore that. haha.

  • I suggest getting a sling for your shotgun so you can sling it over your shoulder in case you need to bug out, or a scabbard that can be tied to the pack.

Point is, you won't want to leave without the shotty, and possibly the 30-06.

  • Ok after meeting the bat shit insane nazi known as yankeeprepper I've gotten a bad impression of what this SHTF thing is. You look like a sane human being so could you explain to me what this SHTF thing is all about?

  • When is the "Big Event" coming ?

Anyone have a "insider" positioned within the Illuminati or NWO Elites?

Pick-up any hidden signals from Apha-Centuri that have any indication on the "Event" ?

Buds with George Bush? Hidden mic him.

When that asteroid comes near earth in 2012? Lets all go outside and point our strongest refridgerator magnet at it to draw it to earth ! Lets get this show on the road already !

  • @DeusVenator Big Event is suggested by a lot in the community to possible occur on 3/15/11.

Do you really think the elites would let people believe 12/21/12 was the real date?!

  • @DeusVenator The 2012 calender event is BS, and the Big Event won't be like the superbowl or the WTCs falling. It will be a collapse of a time duration of a few months. By the time it's full blown or climaxed, if your not ready, your too late. Just hope someone who's prepaired will adopt you.

Also, the illuminati doesn't exist, and the one's at fualt and not trying to be secerative. They are pretty much not hiding anything. I see them on TV all the time, as you probably do too.

  • @DeusVenator lol

  • All you need is a good rifle and plenty of ammo. Rest comes "free".

  • On the right track...few suggestions are to put all lights and your flashlight in a drybag, useless if they get wet, and invest in a better pack...that thing will fall apart soon..good luck...from your canadian neighbor

  • Looks like you have everything ,but the kitchen sink. Just a thought, but if SHTF does happen heavy guys will be the most attractive. They are the ones with the food. Think about it.

  • You might also want to get your fat ass in shape as a means of preparation. Having all the tools is cool and all, but being physically fit is just as important. I doubt you, or any other obese individual, could survive for more than 2-3 days looking like that. Just something to consider when you are sitting in your comfy home scarfing down twinkies and playing with survival equipment.

  • on storing food get some stuff that actually taste good. I tried cooking some my caned chicken - it taste terrible and so do most the canned vegies. Honey stors for ever and is always ggod- powdwered milk, oat mill can eat raw. Beans lentiles rice wheat berries. can soak wheat berries and they get soft same with barley. Wheat can last up to 30 years. I am trying to store up stuff i like to eat normally.

  • Hello Reginald, Very good information.

  • it's great that you are doing all you are doing for yourself. It appears you are like me and do not have a large budget to work with and yet that is not stopping you from prepping. I enjoy your videos.

  • im gonna throw you a few quick ideas. you should have an empty coffee can in your BOB that you can store things and boil water in if your filter breaks. your first aid stuff would be better stored in a peanut butter jar because they wont let water in, and empty prescription bottles are waterproof so they are great for storeing your matches and some kindling if you want to carry some.

  • a survivers best friend a 100 feet of rope

  • Dude you have alot of stuff in that bag you would never that make you bag really heavy.

  • nice vid reggi,very informative

  • its good you are prepared but that pack is a bit heavy and bulky imho.

some of that stuff you dont really need but in the end its your pack so its up to you what you want to put in it.

  • You need to loose weight Brother, if you have to move out you wont make it. Not to hurt your feeling that's not what Im trying to do. I dropped from 240 to 215 lbs. Just try working out little by little. Walk with your BOB.
