Here's the thing to do: Play Gurren-hen, the first movie, HEAR THAT ROAR and compare. Now that I've seen all the movies I can safely say that Gurren-Hen GDB by Kamina IS and ALWAYS WILL BE THE MOST FUCKING AWSOME of all GDB's. Neither of the others are as wild, explosive, prolonged and neither posses as much might. Only Kamina's VA is able to deliver that much.

...Kittan's performance from Lagann-Hen is something most would rather want to forget.

One of Kamina's famous quotes is "Don't believe in yourself, believe in me, who believes in you!", wich means that even if Simon doesn't believe in himself, Kamina will be there and will believe in him. Kamina tells Simon to be brave because he is going to be alone from now on.
