are koi harder to take care of than regular fancy goldfish? i keep on hearing that they are dirtier than goldfish, but idk if it's true. and i have a 50 gallon tank. how many koi/goldfish would i be able to fit in it?
Tiger: I've got Comets, Shubunkins, Koi, and little baby feeders all in my 55, and they all get along.. The larger Koi get a little agressive with the little ones sometime, but no one's been eaten.. (yet).
me to ! but when i woke up the other morning my tank cracked overnight? i quickly got a new one and now there all affraid and some aggressive when i turn on the new light ,weird, whats going on there?
how do i get the "watch in HD" button as an option for my video? i have this camcorder, and it says that im recording in HD at the bottom of the screen of my dxg 579v. i uploaded it to youtube, but the HD didnt work. i tried a second video, but it didnt work either. is it because im using Pinnacle Studio 12 to upload my HD videos?

u should really upgrade your tank man. koi needs 250 gallons for itself to maintain a long healthy life. Anyway great tank!

I have 2 koi in a 40 gallon breeder.
They've maxed at 6 inches.
Goldfish can get pretty big...
Just keep an eye out they might get over crowded...if anything may only need to take out a couple. But otherwise looks good! Very pretty fish!

It's a 55 Gallon plexiglass with a UV sterilizer and a fluidized bed filter.
I've got plain goldfish, koi, shubunkin and one butterfly koi.
