In one of your videos you said you were a cheap piano player! But, Down here where I live, You would find a job the first minute even before you started playing. They reconize lots of clowns that don't take piano seriously, but you do and nobody reconizes you?
WTF?! I'm playing piano for now ~8 years (I'm 15) and I never saw somebody playing a piano that fucking good :D You're better than many prominent piano players
Reminds me of a hick gospel group that wanted this song on their album as an instrumental, so renamed it, "Gospel Cannonball Express." Too bad you weren't around to do the piano. It would have blown the album out of the water!
A man named William Kindt published a first version in 1904. From there, both Hugh Cross and the Carter family did a version in 1929. In 1936 Roy and His Smokey Mountain boys recorded it with Sam "Dynamite" Hatcher at the lead. When Mr. Acuff reorganized his group in 1938, they re-recorded with him singing and it became one of his two signature songs; the other being Great Speckle Bird. Hope this clears things up!
HELLO ALLEN! Glad I logged on just in time to get this one fresh and hot right out of your home studio! GREAT ragtime rendition as always! The "King of Country Music" would be very proud of the way you played his most famous tune! I'm sure both he and Del Wood are smiling right now! You have TALENT Allen and thanks for sharing it with us! Love Ya Man! God Bless! Mike (MoJoPiano)
