First time I heard her was in Groningen on a summer festival in the early nineties, she and her band were magic in the Dutch sun. She was so charming: she gave a dancing man her bracelet. I bought her CD. Few years later I travelled to Gabon. Making a tour in a 4.WD we had to wait for a river ferry. Then I heard in a simple house Oumous clear voice singing this song. While my travel companions were making morals about African way of life, I had again a magic moment under the clouds of Gabon....
