  • the ss was greman get your facts right

  • @sinnett65 the russian helmet is called the ssh 40 model. i wasn't referring to the SS.

  • @askchipmonk if you watched the video till the end its in the annotations and i just fucked up the name... fucckkk... its the ss ch-40 model.

  • I know a huge antique collector, he has a russian uniform from ww2 aswell as two russian winter hats with the hammer and sickle on it.

  • the patch is a Soviet Army Radio-Technic and Communication Troops patch

  • The badge appears to be a communications division and of 1970's or later vintage. The hat could also be from as early as the late 70s, though 80s is more likely. Hope I could help! I've got a video on my profile with my collection of Russian militaria if you'd like to compare.

  • I have the revolver the M1895 Nagant holster. Who doest in North America they are 100-200 bucks with holster and cleaning kit.

  • the badge is a part of the russian airforce :)

  • my russian hat looks a lot better no offense :)

  • i think the badge is the soviet airforce

  • i just went to a store and that badge on the russian police hat hat i have

  • the G.I. cap is from like the 80s...maybe late 70s

  • well im going to be honest since theres a lack of knowledge here, its nothing to do with the US army, not a GI hat, or anything at all to do with the united states of any kind, its a British army DPM cap, first pattern that was made with the first pattern DPM suit otherwise known as the 66 pattern, it wasnt popular and was known by many names such as Crap hat, Jap hat and D I L L A C hat, its obvious from the start that its British Army camouflage no matter how amateur you are.

  • you could get some good money for some of that well if you want to sell it its up to you but check out prices is i was you

  • I have a Swedish army cap from 1943, got it from my grandfather who also served under WW2 in the Swedish Navy :)

  • "some russian items, starting with this american G.I hat."

    O.o wtf man

  • i wear the gloves to when i show my friends stuff or if they want to hold it or touch it i make them put the gloves on

  • yeah gloves keep everything clean and umarked which is good with mint and relic items, but aslong as you have clean hands im not too fussy depends on the item :P

  • That Russian policemans hat is from the 1980s, it seems to have taken a bit of damage.

    What size is it?

I may take it off your hands if your willing to give me a decent price. :)

  • its not that damaged mate, seen alot worse, just say its in worn/used condition, about 51-52 cm

ummm sure, whats your offer :)

  • cool, well thankyou, for the info :)

  • thanks alot :) but what is air mobility?

  • sounds cool, were you find?

  • american hat is a 1970s british Army DPM "craphat"..russian badge is an Army Signals sleeve patch

  • its british? :o, thts fcking r'tarded :(

    cheers

  • no prob..the maker details are usually stamped in black inside the hat..but over the years it wears off...dont be tempted to put it in washing machine if you ever need to clean it coz the stiffener in the peak is only cardboard... as i found out a long time ago!!.

  • cheers, but i think it may have already of been washed :(

  • ironically its now a collector item as its the first generation of postwar British Army camo and the first generation issue of the DPM gear..this first issue is the best of the lot as it was hardwearing and the jacket was lined..not like the current pattern...throughout the late 1980s most ended up in the hands of the fishing and hunting people when surplussed, so nowadays a complete suit representing the DPM worn by the British soldier in the 1970s/80s is getting harder to find.

  • o okai if you can make a video, and i'll check for you :)

  • what do you mean real? you saying mine is not real?

  • thanks, please subscribe my next video is coming soon

  • Very nice. A lot of Soviet militaria is starting to gain value since the fall back in the early 90's.

  • yes, but you can go to eastern europe and get it fairly cheap, or you can dig it up yourself which is alot cheaper

  • I like the Soviet Militia hat, I am getting that same badge. Check out my video responce.

  • my dads dad faught for russia, joined in 38, till 45 faught all the war all over europe, and he has so much things you woundn't belive, but there in russia

  • sounds like he had an adventure, you made a video of his items? cheers

  • i wish i could make a video, but im in chicago and hes on a farm in the middle of russia

  • shame, well do you collect?

  • somewhat i do

  • you should, especially battle field finds, because if people dont collect them they will rust away and be lost for ever, this isnt just a hobby, we are preserving history for future generations to learn from

  • whatehel he said with that helmet

    russian ss helmet

    russians got no ss

  • umm sorry, there was a pause

i was meant to say 'SSch-40 helmet'

    sorry for miss-interpretation

and dont ask about the gloves lol

    cheers

  • Wow, I have that russian polica cap, my great great uncle wore it I think.

  • cool, you got any info on it? cheers, please rate and comment

  • Yeah I'll see what I can find out and I'll post a video response to this. I also have some other stuff he had so i'll probably show it all in a video.
