  • My 2 year old son is Autisitc.. we have started early teaching him how to do everyday things we do not shelter him from everyday activites out of fear of a meltdown.. We go shopping everyday.. its a learning adventure!

  • Does he know that he is different? I've always thought so, I mean, I know a lot of people who would treat a child with autism like a not smart kind of animal. But they must know they are not like others, right?

  • I think autism parents are the greatest. We have one in our group home. The boy's mom is the best, and she looks out for him all the time. Dunno how she does it. But yeah. Gotta love the boy.

  • That is one happy beautiful boy and he is so lucky to have the parents that he does.. I really liked this video :)

  • @mrstiffanycoghill Well said! :)

  • noah is learning and do every thing we are

  • He's so cute:)

  • So, he does not have Aspergers? What ASD does he have, and what kind of therapy has he had? (I have a kid sister who has Aspergers, she's developed dramatically over the past several years with Occupational therapy)

  • wow awesome we do somewhat the same thing with our boy

  • I thought the outing looked great. Thanks for posting the real thing. Good job coaching too. I don't know that it actually matters but I was wondering if there had ever been a diagnosis of Angelman's Syndrome?

  • My heart goes out to all you parents dealing with this condition. All of you should find yourselves good therapists and use all of your workplace coverage.

  • wow! great dad! keep it up.

  • I am 12 and I have 2 brother Matthew is 2 and Saiden is 4 they both have autism I need some advice ASAP

  • Thank you so much for posting this video. I am glad to see someone going through the same things that we do. It's tough but it's priceless. Great job Dad! I hope this will inspire more Dads to take part. I know I am blessed to have a husband who is 100% alongside despite the challenges of being in the military.

  • That dad sure is something. It takes a real special person to take care of a child that requires extra attention ( and to have patience!)

  • Man I admire you my friend you guys are awesome parents , I wish you the best and hope he gets better and better., God bless you all.

  • amazing boy with an amazing dad!

  • I trying not to sound like a jerk here but what is missing in a autistic childs brain is something like not all the way developed or something

  • @TLmysteryman123 Well, they don't really know what causes autism, but it is neurologically based.

  • noahs dad seems amazing. good job dad.

  • With our father was like that...(my brother is autistic)

Glad there are fathers our there like that though(:

  • Inspirational!! Thank you :))

  • that looks like suvere autism

  • awww he's cute

  • nice video. such great patience and love!

  • What an awesome dad! Some parents keep their children with special needs at home and never take them outside...this dad is an ideal father!

  • What an amazing Dad......best of luck with your Dear son..

  • hes so calm in the store! my son who is 2 " also autistic"has tantrums in the stores i never thought there would be ways around this issue, thank you for sharing!!!

  • he is such a beautiful littil boy

  • wow hatz off to d dad, u have a georgeous son

  • Hes more than autistic... My son is autistic..

  • @priceless2900 aw, that's exactly what i just said:( he's still beautiful.

  • What an awesome smile!

  • the dad is amazing!

  • My dad has never even sent me a birthday card... and this dad is amazing.. what a contrast humans are.

  • God, I do not know how you do it. I have to be honest with myself and say I know I would not be able to do it. This is why God only gives autistic children to special people. He knows I would cut and run. I am ashamed to admit it but patience is something I do not have much of. I would not be able to raise that child. You are a wonderful man and your family is very lucky to have you!!

  • wait so is thsi wat like severe austisum looks like because i have high functioning

  • Such an awesome father! God bless them both!

  • what a dad!

  • it looks like he is looking the camra man in the eyes

  • We have the behavioral therapist help us similarly once a month. I see a lot of the same reactions w our child. It's definitely less stressful w 3rd party support. LOL at the crushed pretzel bags cute. Great support and dedicated parent.

  • @Edonbelay...here here!!

  • Dad you are awesome, keep it up my man. Love seeing a father being there for someone with special needs.

  • Great "shopping therapy". I really like the idea with items hanging from the cart for sensory input.

  • been there done that!!!

  • What an AWESOME Dad!!

  • Thanks @chetlehuang and @jab2004jrb2007! Noah's dad is an inspiration to me too. His patience and perseverance are amazing to watch...it takes time, but change is possible. Keep up your great work and thanks for watching.

  • what an amazing family! as much as it is challenging to have a child with autism, the dad is amazing and very supportive. noah is wonderful. as a mother, though, seeing the father interact with his son like noah's father is doing is an inspiration for me to keep on going. it is so hard...

  • @chellehuang it is so hard! and also as a mother even ive had meltdowns. Noah and dad GOD BLESS YOU keep your heads up YOUR GONNA MAKE IT!

  • What a beautiful young man! Beautiful eyes, just like my little man. Thanks for posting such a useful video to show others how even little tasks are so challenging to our kids with autism and how important it is for them to master them. With help and patience, they can!
