  • another 2 great books:

-How to Make Great Audio Recordings Without Breaking the Bank by Brent Edstrom

-Audio in Media by Stanley Alten ,Ninth Edition

  • @Eumusic1 never heard of them, thanks may check them out

  • Great. that is the book robyung was also talking about.

  • @wizztay it's a great one

  • Paul White is a great writer.

He also wrote Music Technology Basics and Beyond, which in my opinion is better for a complete beginner, since it's a lot easier to read the Producers Manual, if you know nothing or close to nothing about recording, great review as always fam.

  • @NittenOAC I haven't read that one to compare, but I find this one really easy to comprehend, even for a beginner, and the way the information is organized makes it very easy to consume. Definitely a great book. thanks for the comment

  • What up fam?! I see you got the mikro posted up on the desk?! Is it true about the mikro having "better feeling" pads?! Whats you take?! And good job switching up your reviews!!!

  • @prettdboy yes, I love the pads on the mikro, first thing I noticed, really have a smoother feel which I prefer, others prefer the original so it's all personal. Eventually the new pads will start showing up on the regular maschine units I would imagine

  • Sup Joe, i still see that dust on the table ;-) just playing bro... yo im def gonna get this book, googled it and read alot of good stuff. One more thing, is that planet earth from e-mu? i still have a mo-phatt somewhere in the basement. Once again thx for the review

  • @W1ldPort yeah man, I noticed my dust when I edited the video lol. I'm in the basement...it's dusty lol! I need to dust that corner though son! Nah, it's the proteus 2000, with the mophatt card in it. I have an mp7 with some roms over on my other table too lol.

  • @SoundsAndGear yeah cool stuff, proteus has alot of great sounds in it :) i've had my mo phatt since like 2001 and im still loving it. cya on the next review and keep up the good work ;)

  • @W1ldPort yeah, I don't use it much, I put my proteus rom in the mp7 so when I want a change up I'll just turn that on and get away from the computer.

  • Great review! I'm huge fan of Paul White. I quote a lot of his books in my course works so I'm definitely getting this one

  • @EvGBeats good stuff man!

  • nice, stepping out into book reviews.

    stjoe, your game is tight

  • @lordtoranaga thanks fam!! I only do it when I find one I like :) This one is really good!

  • yo joe how are the pads on the mikro maschine i heard they are softer then the regular ones

  • @eyeseafree I prefer the pads on the Mikro over the M1. I did a video on the size comparison and mentioned them a lil bit. I'm pretty much using the Mikro all the time now.

  • Used college book lol

  • @sig310 yeah lol, there ya go :) hahahaha

  • Damn $47?? Thats like buying a college book lol

  • @sig310 you must of never bought a college book lol, they cost quite a bit more than that, try adding a 1 in front of it :) lol...I don't think 47 bucks is much, especially when you have pdf ebooks costing that much or more. This is a full color book, it's really worth it.

  • nvm 47$

  • thanks for sharing! yo how much did that manual cost you?

  • @Pranksta305 this book is 47 bucks

  • great book.

    samplemagic . com

  • @Eumusic1 yes indeed it's great

  • This was a good one right here! This book is a must have!

  • @CivilIllEnt bro you will love it, trust me

  • good demo

  • @theoutsideas thanks for watching

  • yo, dude !

great job as usual, BUT I would add more tags to get more views!

and post your demos as video responses to other videos and you might get a LOOOT more views !

    max

  • @TheMusicDude1997 thanks lol, it's a good book :)
