@extra222love Sir, I have a question for you....What is the name of your God? We both know that in Arabic the word for God=Allah, so what is name of your allah? Do you call god ..."god"?. In the religion of the jews the word God=Elohim and His name is YHWH. The so-called 99 names of allah are not really names but attributes. Attributes are characteristics showing the character of said God, now attributes are not names. We do not call humans..."HUMAN" but we call their names. Whats allahs name?

Thanks Daniel. In fact, the 99 names of God starts with "Allah" the proper NOUN (the name God called himself with) then 98 attributes. The word God = ILAH in Arabic and = Eloh in Hebrew (where im is a suffix for greatness).

Proper NOUNS can't be translated but pushed into different languages with the same pronunciation, take for example:

Exodus 32:31 ”Then Moses returned to the LORD, and said, “Alas, this people has committed a great sin"

Jeremiah 1:6 "Then I said, “Alas, Lord GOD!"

Matthew 27:46 "Jesus said “ELI, ELI, LAMA SABACHTHANI?”

@extra222love sir...........I have been told that the word "Lord" is suppose to be YHWH, but translator forbid the use of God's name because they say 'it was too holy to pronounce'....thats why most all jews even when referring to the usage of "God" they will put "G-D". My point is that when translating the word God into other languages or translating name of God; >>YHWH.... it doesnt change the original name of God which is in the Hebrew language....not in Aramaic or Arabic.

Brother, calling God with his name didn't start in Moses time using Hebrew. Take for example, Adam & Eve, which name they called God with? Did they talk Hebrew? Nope, they spoke the first Language ever, the Aramaic. Where the very same name "Allah" was used between Aramaic & Arabic. Arabic is a gesture Language, where pronunciation depends on who's the ACTOR and who's the ACTED upon! The difference appears in the suffix (a, o, i) so "Allah" can turn to "Allaha", "Allaho" or "Allahi" depends on the grammar of the sentence.

Just think what Adam & Eve did call God after they descended from heavens and landed in Mecca and been built by the Lord the house which is the Kabaa today. What was the name they called God with? Was it Hebrew? Or God's name did change?!

The phrase THE GOD referring to "ALLAH" is a definite article meaning to specify one thing in particular; like in your proclamation " there is no god but THE GOD...." Nouns, and definite articles ARE NOT NAMES---do you understand common sense?. Also to attribute characterisic's to "a" god, even if that god is in your mind, THE GOD....is still not a name. Non-the-less names are NOT nouns, definite article's or attributes----names are what one is called. The "Elohim" of the bible has a name, it is in hebrew srcipt, but my computer only allows me to write the letters Iam using now, the YHWH. There is a equal to this in Hebrew both in there own script as well as in pictorial form. It means...... "I AM".

The name of God is "Iam that Iam".I ran out of spaces so I abbreviated. The important point in all throughout the Old Testament is that Elohim identifys Himself with His Name and says that by His Name He will save His People, that by His name believers shall conquer. A Name is crucial to identifying eternal truths.

You don't seem to realize this one major fact and that is, most of the newer versions of the Bble have left alot of important words out.
