You guys are better than you think you are. The room acoustics suck. You can get free scraps of new carpet from carpet layers. Hang them on the walls to kill that ringing sound. You'll be amazed. Cut the pieces in interesting shapes for decorative needs if aesthetics are important. How about blue carpet for skies, brown carpet for mountains and tan carpets for sand and castles?
