lmao, great job ladies. I've been a nurse going on 7yrs lol, sadly this is how it is. Fortunately for me, our hospital has a "report line" the ED (and other departments) can call to leave report for us if we don't have time to take report verbally. "Where is my Xanax?!" "I have doctors in my face!" too funny. Awesome job ya'll!

I was a unit secretary for a couple months and let me tell you that is EXACTLY how it is, If the unit is expecting patients from the ED they scrampble and pretend theyr edoing something. When the phone rings for report they all suddenly went from lazy gossip trash talking to med running, break taking patient dealing mother teresas. granted I respect the nurse proffesion but how difficult is it to keep up for your patients and if you know you have a patient coming up and its your turn for report.

It really sucks to be in the middle of that as the Student Nurse with both sides complaining and expecting you (the student) to do something about it....lol Im just a student nurse! I cant take report either! LOL
