the worst one I had been through was the Northridge quake when I was maybe 12 or 13. I can't remember the scale but I remember being hours away from my parent and not knowing if they were o.k. It was HORRIBLE

I was born and raised here. I do not know anything other than Cali. I love this state regardless of all the quakes (which most of them we don't feel). Even though quakes come through every so often (years apart) it doesn't happen every day so I can deal.

and oh yeah... search earthquake on the youtube search then after that,point at the blue button that says "Anytime" right by the word "Uploaded:" then click on "Today" then click the first video then you will see the girl holding the camara and say "uhh soo there is definetly an earthquake just now" and after you watch that video then click on any other earthquake videos thats been uploaded hours ago not days ago! Well, I just looked at a few online translation sites and they all said "No Results Were Found", so I knew that wasn't it, since that would be weird for an earthquake to say. But I just sent your video to a friend of mine that happens to be an earthquake expert(graduated from Richter University, showed me the diploma he printed out from his online class and everything) and he told me from watching your vid, that the earthquake's "BAAAHH" can be loosely translated to the exclamation "BOOO!!"

I feel where you are coming from. Really old people can be such a reminder of our mortality that it can make us slightly uncomfortable. However,as you get older they will be less disconcerting. Trust me on that.I see old guys now and they make me think of my dad and I feel affection towards them. I like want to help them and stuff. I did not used to be like that. Sound strange?

Girl, I know this may sound like a long time ago, but when I was visiting California in I believe 1989, I was quite young, anyway, all I know is that AS SOON AS WE GOT BACK HOME to CHICAGO, that horrible ass earthquake hit around the area in which my family resides in Cali!!!!!

They made a movie about this earthquake, you may remember.
