Great horror film, and the music adds the extra darkness needed to make this one of the most brutal evil feeling slasher films of its time. The girl behind the mirror all cut to shreds is one hell of a haunting image.

what a sweet, good wholesome family film....see how this young child respectfully treats a squatter, and even though she is dead, he generously gives her her space.  And notice how the host gives a welcoming invitation to the child, and invites him to stay a bit longer. Yes, a true Disney movie

Can't wait for this movie to finally come on R1 DVD, i think this is a nice and very disturbing slasher flick like "Maniac", not even "Hostel" is this disturbing.

Actually he did, once saw an pic of hm on the set showing the child actor how to hold the axe.
