If we force someone to turn into muslim, we are not virtuous. whats the point of turning someone into a muslim if they will not obey Islam when they are alone? and if they don't accept let them be. Our prophet (pbuh) did that too. he fought alot of wars for many other reasons but never to enforce islam on non-muslims, e.g: the first war was fought because the Quresh (people who swore to kill him) were being cruel to the muslims.
