Yes, but will video blogging lead people to become more narrow in their views or will it lead people to become more open to the ideas of others? Most broadcast stations make some effort to be balanced in what they provide. Are the "networks" that evolve online likely to have diversity of opinion among memebers?

We are EXTREMELY far behind compared to many countries. Imagine the capacity for videoconferencing etc if we had full speed fiber. The telcos need to get it together. It would be incredible.
I couldn't agree with you more. However the cost of this thing? Have something that is included in your internet bill? Provide a reasonable price lower than every other way of getting movies out there? I think this could be very huge, but it needs to be done right, Dealing with piracy would be a major task since all of this would be on servers....

Just IMO: By and large I agree with you. I think viewers will be shocked at how quickly internet video develops a quality comparable to HDTV. I also think that internet video (not necessarily YouTube) will replace the niche currently filled by TV in American family's lives. In some ways it may be like the TV we've always known, but I predict the means of delivery will be the internet

HD requires a huge amount of bandwidth. It can work, but it will take a lot more infrastructure.
