OMG Nostalgia! Watching this reminded me of my childhood! I almost remember all the theme songs! I can't believe some of this stuff was in children's programming back in the day.  You wont find segments about acupuncture and surgery in children's programming today.

I totally agree with you BobbieJane. I remember waking up in the morning, my mom having made pancakes for my sister and I. We would sit and watch these cartoons. This is the best! Pretty animation, respect for animals and the planet, lots of humorous touches, and a vocabulary that isn't dumbed down for kids. Can't parents revolt against screamy Dora n' Boots and that new assinine quartet that sings "Go Bananas" every ten minutes? Nickelodeon Jr. should remember its original quality programming. This show taught me to care about others and that animals deserve respect. I also learned to respect nature. Agreed. What happened to the days when a show could be like this? If you look now and analyze the show as a whole, you'll see it's really very Buddhist-themed. Of course, teaching kids how to live and find happiness in the world around them won't help in the SATs right?
