@97221135 yeah you are right. but i figured that maybe people will find it easier to use a graphical program to partition the hard drive than to use the dos version. you totally right though, you can partition using the windows installation cd too
@IMattPlagueI if its a dmg file then its only for apple computers i think. i torrented my iso file and burnt it to dvd. win 7 workks too. i have got it my self :)
@jusjoe88 awesome thanks :) sorry, 'nother question... is it possible to boot OS X 10.6 from a memory stick/portable hard drive? (I have a 350GB one - does it have to be empty?) After converting the .dmg file to an .iso it's almost 8GB and won't fit on traditional DVD's (guess I'll need a dual-layer DVD) or will it work from my hard-drive?
@IMattPlagueI yeah i have heard ppl can boot up and install OS's on external hard drives. i havent done it myself but im sure its possible. let me know how it goes :)
Does it really need all that programs to do it? cant i just run it from boot and install it? i have winxp win7.. and want to put linux..and already have 3 partitions..
hi, i'm looking to learn how to dual boot or triple boot. On my envy 15 I would like to triple boot windows 7 home premium, osx86 (I have ideneb 1.3 (10.5.5)), and ubuntu, do you know a guide/tutorial where i can see how to do this effectively?
Hey bro! I'm trying to follow your guide. My tools however are: XPS M1530, iATkos v7 (DVD), Ubuntu (latest CD) and Windows 7 Enterprise (DVD). I'm having problems when it comes to booting. I keep getting an error msg when I try to boot Windows. Would you help me out please? Thank you!
Hi I have done what you have done in your video, but when I have to install the mac version you have here ......it seems that it does not work.. let me tell you why....because when I tried to boot using that mac partition it seems that starts fine but after one minute I have my screen black with no signal of video there ...can you tell me what to do ir tell me where to go to download the las version of that mac os
Hi joe just got one question I have an advent 4213 by any chance would you know what I would need to select in the customize section. I have followed a guide and still no luck.
I am trying to install ideneb 10.5.8 and the install will finish then when rebooted will stick at apple logo. (In -v it says using 5242 buffer headers and 4096 cluster IO buffer headers)
Is it completely necessary to do a complete format and partition? I already have Vista installed and don't want to make a backup of all my files. Can I still just repartition through EASEUS and then install OSX? Would this arrangement work? Maybe do a defrag first? Thanks.
i have installed all following your guide, the problem is that when mac os x installation finish, and says that is going to restart the computer, is restarts but appear the message boot0: error_ and i can't do anything. What can i do? thanks you for all.
@Alikiller421 yes it works with 10.6 version too. just make sure to select the correct drivers for sound, graphics or motherboard type to avoid any errors
Hi, I'm getting ready to buy a Laptop and I am wanting to triple boot Windows, OSX, and Linux. What specs will I want to make it run good with all 3? How much RAM? What processor? Will a Mac or PC work just as good as the other? Trying not to spend $1500+ for a Mac :-p
hey as long as your system (either a pc or mac) has atleast a 2.1 GHZ proccessor and minium 2 GB ram then it will run all operating systems smoothly. Mac for me is the heaviest operating system (compared to xp and linux) so it requires more ram to ran well. on my netbook, the proccessor is only 1.6GHZ. it can run OSX fine with 2 GB ram but big applications like photoshop slows it down. But on my main pc - it has a dual core 2.8 GHZ proccesor so it runs well with any program.
ok a installed linux unbuntu on a dual boot with vista a long time ago and the wirless card didnt work:/ if i put iDeneb on it will the wirless card work??? do i have to install any drivers?
ok. at the moment there arent any drivers for the wireless card that the advent comes with for OSX. so what people are doing is buying this popular wireless card by Dell (not sure what model) which is compatible with both windows and osx. apparently its quite cheap too, so they swap the original advent wireless card with the dell and install drivers on both windows and OSX. i havent done it myself, i jus use an ethernet cable when using OSX :)
yeah the same steps work fine on a 4213. i havent tried idenbe 10.5.6 though. im on idenebe 10.5.5. it doesnt give me any troubles at all. the only drivers i chose where the sound card, intel chipset and graphics (if you are reffereing to intalling OSX)

Dude . You Are Just Wasting Time . You Can Just Create A Partition During The Windows Xp Installation . Why Need To Do It Inside The Windows ?

@jaysonkarenjohnson You do not have to do a complete format. Your method would work, and the defrag is recommended.
