The Rapture before Jesus comes back? That is very contrary to Scripture, and a message sure to put Christians to sleep. 1Thess 4:15For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

@earlysda according to the Scriptures a pre-trib. rapture makes perfect sense. The Scripture you quoted is talking specifically about the rapture. The last verse says in referring to the rapture for us to comfort one another with these words. It is talking about the anticipation of a soon coming rapture. That last verse would not be possible if Christians had to go through the trib. period to get to the rapture. Where's the comfort? And that's only 1 commonsense passage.

The righteous will live with wicked on earth until Jesus' coming. Then the wicked will be destroyed, and Jesus will take the saints to heaven for 1,000 years. Then saints and New Jerusalem will come down, the wicked raised, (2nd ress.) the wicked burned up, and this world recreated.

@earlysda if it is a post trib. rapture who will enter into the millennium? According to you, all Christian's will be rapture toward the end of the trib. period. The only humans that will left on earth will have taken the mark (Rev. 13:8). They will be executed at the Lord's 2nd Coming. Who will returning Christian's rule over? Frankly, according to Scripture Post trib. rapture doesn't make sense. Let me know how it does & you will be the first.

@rossdaboss1959 Agreed that we need to be awake and reading our Bibles. The Bible says no such thing about a pre-trib rapture. That is all a lie of Satan to put Christians to sleep. Jesus perfected his character thru trial and suffering and of course his strong hold on the Father. To think that his bride will somehow become pure thru a different route will lead to a bride that the groom will not recognize as his.

Out of love i tell u the truth. If u think it's a lie, then so be it. I won't give the devil what he wants, to make us argue over the word of God. After the rapture, all eyes will be opened. One is not saved because they go through trouble n suffering. Acts 2:38 is God's plan of salvation.
