It not only resembles a "tish nign." it IS a tish nign.
Gebiritig was indeed "le genie de la chanson yidish,"
but "Shabes, Shabes" is not a Gebirtig composition.
("Kinder Yorn" mentioned in another comment, is a
Gebirtig song). Research, people, research!
