No man, you don't get it. Have you never put a spoon in a cup of boiling water? It DOES NOT MAKE THE CUP BOIL OVER. duh. Because microwaves heat all the way through anything with water, fat or protein in it at the same time, there's much more energy in the water than normal heating from the bottom, and the spoon catalyzes it to form steam.
