I have EQ 3.5, good quality AA last pretty long. ( duracell, energizer ) about 12-15 tanks. From my experience. There are sign when battery is low. Steering will become very slow but battery won't just die instantly.

There are some signs to know when battery is dieing my earthquake only steers 1 way when low on battery power

@austinkx09 many actually, you can find out when your steering goes slow and car won't have good response to controls, servos twitching. then that means you need new batteries

I just got this car 2 days ago and I love it. Your reviews on this car are spot on. I am very please with most of the car but I do have 1 major issue. Why did they go so cheap with the steering linkage from the servo to the front link, it plastic with just one screw, so you can't even locktite it.on my first tank after the 5 break in tanks the steering came undone very annoying but thats really my only issue. very pleased they upgraded the radio/receiver to DSM-2C 2.4GHz Remote Control.

i have a question. the backdraft is not my first nitro car. its just my first 4 wheel drive nitro car.. ok heres the question. my backdraft almost sounds like it never shifts. was wondering how i could make it shift later. my backdraft doent excelerate fast at all unless i do a donut in dirt. well tune the HSN to get full RPM on engine and then you can hear it shift. Its not shifting cuz its not getting that much speed before it can shift. Or you can adjust the shifting time by loosening the screw on 2 speed clutch in the 2 speed tranny

How are the SH engines to tune?

do they keep their tune well and do they run well?

my 4.0 engine in my buggy wont start after tedious trouble shooting, no fuel will go into the carb!

It didnt hold its tune very well either so im looking for another engine, how good is the SH 21?

Do they also do a SH 28?

of course. I'd recommend getting a starter box. I am going to get one soon. You can see thats the easiest thing. Put the car on the box. press it down n engine starts ;) no need to take the shell off even ;)
