Yeah I like it but, say you're stuck behind a slow car at 40mph on a reasonably twisty road, maybe it's a little damp. Can you put it in 2nd gear, pull out to overtake and floor it, or will you just spin off into a hedge?
I don't buy your timing either, on the video it was about 4.5 seconds, assuming it hit's 60 near the top of 2nd gear like the GT does.
@andrefrbk It absolutely can take a corner and it can stop too! It's truly an amazing car. We all fell in love with it. We added it to our "2012 Best Cars" list.
It had too much power for those stock tires, the thing about the Boss is it 380ft of torque with great stock tires, it's a good combination to get to 60 in four seconds as to where the Hennessy version just simply has too much torque for anything other than drag radials.
They have GOT to redesign this car, its so damn ugly. When the first "retro" version dropped it looked nice, this is just old and boring. The camaro is more sexy in every way. And most ppl buy for looks, plain and simple!
@Niche79 The redesigned tail lights for the 2013 Mustang will be revealed at the LA Auto Show in a couple months, you're behind the curve stick to your Chevys.

@ArtemiyPavlov The wheel need to slip just a little bit probably not that much but that's down to the surface and surface temp. He did a good job only allowing 70% throttle in first gear before it hooks. It's an art to launch cars consistently everytime that's why launch control are so amazing.
Hmmm other reviews are getting 0-60 4.0 or 4.4 seconds. I guess if you know how to drive you can reduce is more.. I dunno.. The BOSS is a nice ride for sure...

@1vdn992 Funny thing is the Shelby GT500 lowest 0-60 time recorded is 4.1 sec and it has a much much better weight to power ratio than the Boss 302.
I always thought Boss 302's time would be near the Mustang GT range, but its way quicker for some reason.
