I would like to thank the film maker for this movie, It shows what sort of people we are and remind us of our background, It was a poor background but very peaceful and lived as one human being on the planet.
That little dance was adorable. I'm just left wondering, was the kid with the baby on it's back was a boy or girl? I can't tell since it's black and white. I'm asking because in these videos I think I only seen boys?
@moidixmois1 i am pretty sure that was a little girl. if there are Afghans from these areas, u should make copies of this vid I guarantee that if u take them and show them to then local ppl they will recognise themselves or relatives,.. now that wiould be amazing.
sad to see that they had bazaars, mosques, museum, clean people, no beards, children can play outside and many more. now what they have are dirt and a government for the few. i am very sad to see the destruction of this country. i really pity them. so very sorry.
@LoveOfRighteousness yeah i thought that too, especially mir mohamad allem - what a grand looking lad - I would say he would b in his mid-late 50's. God knows if even 1/2 are alive now. so sad the total destruction of an ancient land and ancient ppl's -all bcoz American govts greed.
This documentry definitly qualifies to be showed on the history or national geographic channals. It is a forgotten piece of a nation that lived in harmony with the world where foreigners would be warm welcomed and they would go around the country without the fear of being killed. Now forget about the outsiders, the Afghans themselves are not safe from the evil intentions of the enemy within themselves. This country is the credal of civilizations and needs its status back in among the nations.

There is something I find moving in this film. Perhaps it is because it is from long ago and I wonder if these people are still living?
