Personally, I think Steve Carell pretty much nailed the role. I didn't watch Get Smart (reruns) on a regular basis, so I could very easily be wrong.

I just saw this movie and it was hilarious!!! I seriously have never laughed sooo much at a movie... I love Steve Carrell!!! My favorite part is where he keeps shooting himself in the bathroom.... and when he is in the restaurant in the bathroom!
