yeah ... but I think people over 2000 years people still remember true legends and myths like the ones about the Ilias, Edda, Odysee, King Arthur - than just the '80 pop culture in the 21th century. I think even true legends in music like Beethoven, Mozart, Straus last longer.

Yeah... me thinks it's probably the Yorkshire accent that distorts it a bit. I bet Sean Bean had to actually work to pronounce the T; it's a really bad habit but people with proper, broad Yorkshire accents drop their T's and replace it with gutteral, back of the throat sound which almost resembles a H sound. It's so lazy but hey! haha

In the Ilias by Homerus ... like portrait in the movie... Archilles , son of the Gods, strongest fighter of the Greeks was forcasted to die by an arrow in his heel - the weak point as one of the gods (don't know which one) hold him by the heel when he dipped him in a sacred liquior that gave him the strenght and 'immortality'. But also forcasted with its doom he would become a legend of which people are still talking today. In that way he still have his immortality.
