  • I don't need to read a blog! predators kill their prey, it is hard wired into their DNA.

  • @MrOvalmarc lol. Sorry that is just not true. While certain predatory responses do not require prior learning, they do require certain environmental triggers (which can vary among individuals), motivating operations and learning history.....all of which can be modified : )

  • You are just asking for trouble sooner or later. Dog's are predator animals and birds prey animals. It's not a question of if, but when.

  • @MrOvalmarc Again..disagree : ) Read the blog. Animals are capable of learning much more than you are attributing to them. As mentioned in the blog a falconry dog knows the difference between the pet bird, the bird it hunts with and the bird that the falcon killed. It behaves differentely around each.

  • You need to get over to look at a post on parrot link, and you might think twice about letting fido out with your blue and gold macaw.

    So very irresponsible.

  • @MrOvalmarc I am afraid I disagree with you on that one : ) Check out my blog post on rules for parrots. goodbirdinc.blogspot.com/2011/07/rules-for-parrots.html

  • @MrOvalmarc It's a blue throated macaw, not blue and gold. ;)
