0:32 The name "D'Andrea" is so hot and a real knockout in that font. There's a company called D'Andrea that makes industrial stuff... maybe they're RELated :-)
everyone knows handmade is better than mass produced. constructions made like this won't last, they will degrade and need repairing. may as well just spend more in the outlay and save money as it'll last longer.
yet more idiots that don't realise they're destroying the future.
In only one 40 hour week is 2400 minutes. To lay 1500 bricks in one week you would only need to put down 1 brick every 1.6 minutes (96 seconds). It would most definitely not take a person 'several weeks' to build.
@Nabeel27 Even if you took one brick at a time, it would not take 90 seconds to climb up and down a ladder 6 meters. At 1 pound per brick, I'm pretty sure I could carry 10 at a time.
@sebadam2007@pjotrkiller 1500 briks, meaning 750 kg. One brick in 5 seconds if there is a constant supply near the building point. 7500 seconds == 125 minutes == 2 hours, 5 minutes. Obviously it is high, you need ladder and you need to carry it up, you get maximum 24 hours for one well trained person. There were tens of quadrons flying, if you get same number of people, it would be matter of minutes. That so.
@sebadam2007@pjotrkiller oh and if we are talking about bigger, more complex structures. The technology seems fairly advanced for building open space piles of rocks in certain shape. I can probably make algorythm for one robot in one day and test it to work. More robots - more complexity, but from this video there is nothing to show off their full potential.
I doubt it would really take someone several weeks to do what those robots just did. Robots like these could easily be adapted to clean windows or something. There's a while to go before they'll be lifting 5 pounds of clay.
You can tell this is the early stages of this technology.. if it advances in a couple of years time I can imagine one or two governments will be eager to acquire this technology!
Foam bricks, obviously. THe problem with these ideas is that you need something capable of lifting actual construction supplies and equipment. Can those lift normal bricks? Didn't think so.

Get like 20 of these going at once and this would be amazing, you could knock down a fort, and have it rebuilt in a couple of minutes.

@TheVigilante2000 it gets harder and and harder as the tower gets taller. it would take alot more than 1.6 minutes per brick as the height increased.

I hate to tell you, but 20 feet tall is quite tall, but @ 1 lb a brick, i am certain I could do this in less time, let alone weeks.
