Awesome, I like all M3 Series cars. By the way, for the comparison of the Mustang and the M3,... I've driven both cars and at the end it comes up to which one u like better. I like the way the M3 handles, and although its expensive I really dont care it's an awesome car I would take it over any Mercedes, now for the Mustang, sadly I didn't like the interior a bit, and to be honest the entire car was not that great and that's just my personal opinion.

Too bad no mustang will ever be as refined or as well put together as a bmw m3. It will always be a rustang and there will always be 100million of them . How many m3's do you see daily? Odds are you won't see one very often. Plus the boss 302 is purpose built for track use. An m3 is much more luxerious and fit for daily use and will have much higher quality materials.

To me, that's a very good statement coming from Ford.

@ThirdGenerationDGAF the 5.0 mustang gt was slower around the track than the m3. I'm sure the boss 302 is faster around a track but the m3 can do a lot more than go fast around a track. The mustang is made with low quality cheap materials while the bmw has quality materials throughout the car not to mention it has a fully loaded interior and the outside looks much better. Being fastest around a track doesn't make one car better than the other there is more to the picture than just that.

Have you compared both interiors side by side? Do you even know what type of leather are in either car? Saying "the outside looks better" is textbook opinion, and doesn't have any relevance in this conversation. Just because a car has better leather doesn't mean it's a better value than the Mustang.

I feel that the E46 M3 looks to bloated and rounded, like all cars have become. I like the straight edges and those round headlights on the E30. It looks more sporty and more raw.

My daily driver is E46 328i and E30 325i weekends. 325i is more responsive with Signature Motoring performance (CAI) intake kit. Installed it myself in under half hour. HP increase on the 325i is about 9.5HP for a cost of $170 or around $19 per HP gain. Best 1st performance mod to do. Other application data:

E30 series: 6.0-13.4hp gain

E36 series: 5.5-12hp gain

E46 series: 6.0-13.9hp gain

E92 series: 8.5+ hp gain

Z3/Z4 (all): 5.5-13.9hp gain
