this is a beautiful flower! I cannot wait to try it...however I don't know if anyone else noticed, but I had a question? On the return "trip" after you had done the blue around the purple chain and you had just done the first 3 sc's of the first segment, I heard you say to do 15 dc's instead of 9....was that a mistake or is it supposed to be 15? I would like to clarify...thank you so much for all of your great tutorials!!!! My daughter and I are enjoying trying them out! :)

@6darthgemini If you are new to crochet, I suggest that you become familiar with the basic stitches first. You will learn stitch placement, which will help make a project like this make more sense.

It would look great with thread. All of the flowers that I demonstrate, can be made with thread. Yarn shows up better on camera so that is why I demonstrate most of the time with yarn.
