  • this is a beautiful flower! I cannot wait to try it...however I don't know if anyone else noticed, but I had a question? On the return "trip" after you had done the blue around the purple chain and you had just done the first 3 sc's of the first segment, I heard you say to do 15 dc's instead of 9....was that a mistake or is it supposed to be 15? I would like to clarify...thank you so much for all of your great tutorials!!!! My daughter and I are enjoying trying them out! :)

  • @mom2jodasesh The link to the written instructions is posted in the video details below the video. The written instructions will answer specific questions you may have related to exact numbers and exact stitches.

  • @6darthgemini If you are new to crochet, I suggest that you become familiar with the basic stitches first. You will learn stitch placement, which will help make a project like this make more sense.

im 12 and love to crochet and i learned how to from you thanks

    ~katie

  • That is a big misconception. I have been crocheting since I was 20, first experimenting with it when I was about 14.

  • yep

    * its so kewel* and i have no clue what misconception means but im guessing it means i was wrong

  • Yes, crochet is for anyone that wants to do it, young, old, men, and women.

  • I was having an issue on how to finish my christmas wreath... adding sparkles or christmas balls to a homemade craft seemed dumb. This solves my problem. Thanks for taking the time. DEFINITE 5 STAR VIDEO DAHLING!

  • Thank you. :)

  • I don't understand :(

  • What don't you understand?

  • I've been a crocheter for several years, but I love watching your videos because they really inspire me. Thanks!

  • You are welcome. :)

  • thank you tgw. i live your calming voice:)

  • Thank you. :)

  • When you do the foundation crochet, do you count the first chs as a stitch?

  • The first chains are part of the first stitch. I don't count them.

  • I Just wanted to say that I absolutely love all your videos and am eternally grateful that you made them!! I'm pregnant, overdue, and trapped in the far northern Canadian arctic and decided to take up crochet...I have learned so much from all your videos and love to follow them! Thanks so much!

  • Thank you. Congratulations on the new baby.

  • How do you think this would look with thread? So Cute!

  • It would look great with thread. All of the flowers that I demonstrate, can be made with thread. Yarn shows up better on camera so that is why I demonstrate most of the time with yarn.

  • This is great!!

I'm gonna try to do a sample of this but instead of stopping where you stopped I'm gonna keep going to see how it would turn out for a blanket or throw.

  • Thank you. I would be interested to see how you afghan turns out.

  • I have seen a rug like this. I saw in it one of those little booklets you can get at the store. It looked pretty neat and I was going to try making it.

  • very beautiful :)

  • Thank you. :)
