Well to explain, basically the media all over Europe kept spouting how "All of Africa" was united (1 billion people), and Uruguay is famous for 100 years for these incredible underdog, against all odds , away wins.

IE : 1950- Uruguay wins 2nd world cup (4th official FIFA world title). 11 Uruguayans silenced 200,000 Brazilians. 2.x million silenced over 100 million (at the time populations), etc etc etc.
