  • I want one, I want one...

    No I want 10

  • looks like the EU walker from BF2142, well ok to me.

  • What's the difference between these 2 Wolverines from C&C2 and C&C3 Kane's Wrath?

  • this wolverine looks like vulture from mech warrior 3

  • @WitchhunteR82 more like shadow cat of you ask me

  • I could swear that was real 0__0

  • omg dude thats insane! what was this made on?

  • well it only has chainguns so how could it even stand up to a cougar. in scale the wolverine is about the size of a 8 foot tall dude, and a vulture would be like 70 ft. tall and a cougar like 45 ft.

  • Battletech Couger and Vulture combined.

  • yup the unit is not HALF the way detailed as its shown here in the game

  • Got a mod on Tiberium Wars where I got on GDI side : Titan (walker with cannon, comparable to tanks), Wolverine (anti infrantry), Mammoth Mark II (Extremly big and hard to destroy walker), Orca bomber (heavy armor bombing ship), Minigun upgrade for orca and orca bomber, way better grahpics and funner gameplay

It's called Tiberian Essence, great mod :D

  • Mind telling me where you found that. I can remember the Mammoth Mark II, and the Titan, but not the others you mentioned. Is there a new version?

  • @BboyUBP The Firehawk was heavily armored attack jets it can fire Air-to-Surface bombs or Air-to-Air missiles, so cooler than the Orca Bomber from C&C2 or C&C Tiberian Sun.

  • @BboyUBP but TE is extreamely unbalanced, the cyborg commando could be crushed by a titan, Nod sucked in all ways.

  • its been 30 years or so....things are upgradeable ex. 30 years battle suit upgraded into walker and maybe in cnc 4 zone trooper become zone walkers...

  • Idk, i kinda like this new design, size difference from TS and all. It seems better suited for an IFV role, which is good since steel talons have no fighting apc.

  • Most of the criticism here is well founded at EA's version of the Wolverine. If they wanted Steel Talons to be the bridge between Tiberian Sun and Tiberian Wars, then they failed in story continuity.

As someone who played C&C1 in 1995, I am disappointed at the direction EA has taken the C&C storyline with its inability to stay faithful to the Westwood game design.

  • now only if the wolverine actually looked that good in game...

  • Look at this thing's legs...there's no way those thin sticks can bear the weight of the turret...

I also agree that while in TS, where the Wolwerine was a one-man assault SUIT, EA designers made it into a walking battle tank in Kane's Wrath.

  • it walks a bit funny...

but I like the chainguns... but the gunturret is way to big. ''The wolverine was the smal-assault suit wrigt?''

  • omg, i hella prefeer the wolverine from tiberian sun, this one looks like its better suited for Mechwarrior.

  • Yeah. WTF is wrong with those idiots? We wanted a Wolverine. Why can't they give us a damn Wolverine!?

  • if you want an armored suit, then try ZONE TROOPER. the wolverine is spposed to be a walker, not a suit

  • dude have you even played C&C 1 & 2 you'd know that the wolverine was supposed to be an Assault Suit not a walker ! The titan was a walker !

  • yea but in C&C 3 the zone trooper is the assault suit. no need for another one

  • BUT EA is ruining the storyline

  • You are correct. However, the game has turned it into an anti-infantry walker. It might be an oversized exosuit, though - it is hard to say. This image appears to be more of a mecha than a suit of armor like a ZONE TROOPER.

For those people who think EA is ruining the story, I did not like the original C&C story line. The split story that one side was fiction and the other sotry (GDI) was truth sucked. I enjoyed that now NOD and GDI are both the true storylines.

    Peace through Power!

  • this video is to long omgxD

  • Wolverine too looks like the Shadowcat from Mechwarriors 4

  • first time i saw this i was like wtf its a beer belly with gattling guns

    i prefered the old wolverine.

  • Personally i preferred the old wolverine. But i quite like the new titan. EA may have ruined the storyline, but that didn't make C&C3:TW & KW totally crap. The game is just awesome!!!

They tied most knots up. There is only about 3 loose ends. And the srin is a good step in the tiberium universe.

Think about it - if it was just NOD and GDI in every game it would eventually loose its interest. Like the SAW films lol.

So C&C3 isn't all that bad....

  • hey I was just curiuos. How did you get it to look that good. because it doesn't look like that in the game

just think if it were going to look like that in command and conquer 4 ;)

  • This looks way better than the old 1 which looks like a walking piece of tin can

  • ea butchered this fanchise

this looks nothing like the wolverine from tib sun

  • i have to agree with you about that

  • Yes, EA did a great job destroying the Tiberium universe...however personally I liked their new Wolverine and Titan designs for CnC 3. They looked great, and were a good reimagination to the original units.

  • to me, these "reimaginations" look like they were made from scrap metal, i mean, look at all those little flaps bounching around with each step!

also those tiny chicken legs would shatter under that kind of weigh, and about the legs, if it got shot it would topple its just so damn tall and so damn top heavy!

p.s. i have nothing against you, just ea

  • I know, in tib sun it was just a tan blur lol

  • dont you mean the cardboard box of doom?

  • rofl

  • If you have Kanes Wrath and Tiberium Wars read the intel you get from missions, it explains everything about the walkers and technology.

  • Not if they have the 360 versions. Intel only appears on the PC versions of the game...

  • looks like a mech from mechwarriors

  • awesome

  • mechs are more advanced then tanks and they look cool to

  • I dont know why titans and wolwerines are "older" than new predators beccouse they look more tech-advance than tanks. They are walkers-its more futuristic

  • Explained in the "intel files" you get in the pc version.

Wlverines, titans, and all the other cool TS stuff was phased out in favour of more "traditional" tanks because EA couldn't be arsed to code all the walker anims for the game... uh... I mean, because GDI decided to randomly cut their "defence" budget and focus more on tiberium-killing stuff... and because tanks are cheaper than walkers...

  • lol

  • old school baby! tiberium sun days are back!

  • lol, to those of you who are impressed by this let me just say that this is about 9 feet tall, which is roughly the height of a very tall human being. don't think this is a giant or anything, but those two guns on it's sides waists infantry like there's no tomorrow... it's just... they're so tiny :*(

  • They are miniguns mate, those reap through anything without armor.

  • Very tall man = 6'6-7'. Wolverine = 9'. two foot taller than the tallest people (barring freaks/"persons that suffer from giantism").

It's comparable in size to a tau battlesuit only without the Japanime influence...

  • actually, see the hatch on the top? this wolverine more of a small combat vehicle than it is a battlesuit anymore

  • So is this like a game like Renegade????

  • it kicks the shit out of all infantry so i like it

  • if only theyd have made some CG cutscenes for kanes wrath with stuff like this

    *sighs*

    oh well...

  • Agreed, but I guess they tried to keep the production cost low...

  • Because all the money went into hiring the cast...

  • TS had James Earl Jones and still managed to put CG cutscenes.

  • Moonwalk!

    GDI rules!:)

  • Looks like a shadow cat from Mechawarrior 4.

  • yeah and the mamoth tanks look gay in tiberium 3 but u know they get rail gun upgrades so no complain from me

  • it could beter been caled the wolverine mark 2

  • NICE! but i liked more the old wolverine and titan.

  • keul looks like the same robot they used in matrix 3!

  • I love this but it could have had twin rocket launchers

  • No... that isn't what a wolverine is. That's something else. A wolverine is a light mech with two gatling guns... I'm glad they kept it as it was even if they did change the look.

  • I know I have TS too but the missile launchers could give it AA ability.

  • Wouldn't machine guns be able to do that anyway, like the GDI APC/Nod Buggy?

It's a good enough idea but to be honest, for me, it just doesn't seem needed on a scout... Now if the Titan had missiles, and a multi-machinegun on the other arm, that'd be cool.

  • But why does GDI use bullets against aircraft,I mean they could at least have a missile battery and their AA unit be a MRLS

  • They use guns cause EA said they do- I guess because Non has a SAM-site (of sorts) so they wanted to make it different. The predator has a missile pod on one side of the turret that isn't used, that could easy be anti-air. As far as MRLS goes, the pitbull scout is as close as you'll get. And the mammoth 3 has a multi-missile launcher as well...

  • I mean nod would more suit a AA battery

  • Would they? Dunno- They've always had a SAM site.

Though hover MRLS (GDI) would be welcomed if EA decided to bring it back.

  • What about GDi's SAM battery TS

  • I dunno- that was a tower module. Actually that'd really work well as an upgrade to, say, the Guardian cannon, I think. Think of it- the Guardian turret and perhaps the Sonic turret having a backmounted missile, purely for AA use. While keeping the AA turret... which could also have the Missile upgrade (or come with guns and missile)

I dunno I'm just throwing ideas in here.

  • Still in real-life GDI would use missiles

  • Well the basic line tank (predator?) actually does have a missile pod on the turret, on the left side, next to the main gun. It's got two missiles that never get used. Also the advanced guard tower from way back when used heavy missiles, so I don't really get why they can't have them now...

probably is simply to make them different from Nod... anyway back to topic :P giving a scout vehicle gatling weapons and missiles would make them a bit overpowered in my opinion...

  • Or both battery and missile defences

  • I just think it odd that the predator has missiles and never, ever fires them. Ever. Unless there's a mod that lets them, in which case can someone point maybe me to it?

And yes a combi-turret (Gun and missile battery) would kick all arse...

  • how bout using rail technology for AA???

    magnet propelled rockets? hmm...

  • What I always wanted to know is- if a rail-shell goes fast enough to burn the air it passes through (what's what the characteristic smoke-trail is from), then how the hell do they not break the sound barrier and throw a huge shockwave at everyone nearby?

  • Ever seen a rail gun firing in real(IE in video)?

  • I have. It's pretty cool. Actually, I've seen it on youtube, but I assume that isn't faked.

In all honesty, science fiction railguns are prettier- they leave a trail of friction-burnt air behind them. Impossible at subsonic velocities I know BUT looks pretty.

  • can you give me a link? sounds cool.

  • yeah, mach 10 is enough to ignite air.

  • man the size seems like 10 times the size of last time =.=

  • GDI's way of thinking.

"It's not big/bulky enough. MOAR ARMOUR!!"

Seems to be how they design things :P

  • i dont care what it looks like aslong as it and the other vechicles are in this expansion pack(mammoth mk 2,wolverine,titan,etc)

  • the walkers dun look quite the same tho

  • reminds me of cougar, or Uziel. Anyone?

  • yeah

  • More like Shadow Cat to me. I'd rather prefer the old Tiberian Sun wolvie tbh
