Its not too much a hobby, but a sport. And its rhythmic gymnastics, the ribbon is just one of the apparatuses used in competition. You cant get a ribbon from just anywhere, plus its expensive too.

Gymnastic ribbon is a recent love of mine. I almost want to cry watching some of these movement because it's so beautiful to watch a ribbon twirling while also moving gracefully. These movements and ribbon motions are beautiful whether you like gymnastic ribbons or not. At least give them credit that they can make lovely movements while twirling a lovely ribbon in the air.

I have got 4 ribbons like that: blue, pink, yellow and gray :) I think that ribbon is the most beautiful apparatus in rhythmic gymnastics :)
