Peavey Rockmaster Tube Preamp (clean)

I got an old peavey tube amp with a SS pre-amp.....I want one of these peavey rockmaster preamps.....if they all sound like this cats. :)

I just got a Blackheart little giant and was wondering if all i needed to do was run the preamp through the amp itself or do i need to disable the preamp section of the amp? srry its confusing

run the rockmaster into the effects loop return of your blackheart. this will bypass your blackhearts preamp section.

When you say "straight into the computer" how exactly are you doing that? If that's direct into a stock soundcard it sounds too good to be true.

I've discovered that connecting a BBE Sonic Maximizer to the Clean effects loop, makes the Clean channel sound even cleaner. It's real nice.

use a paremetric you can get exactly what you want with one.Use an all tube like a Art makes my vtm sound like a marshall or a fender.Even when boosting and shaping for destortion as well.I am waiting for a preamp in the mail I have the sound I just need the preamp too swich for me I use an a/b box right now with parametric with a 55 reissue pickup in the neck I get a fat strat sound with sustain and sparkle,I need the boost from the rockmaster so I can lower the output and drive of my para.
