edison1679~~ thanks alot. the advantage for this SOC technique over a clipper cut is several things such as when cuting the hairs of cowlick part at the nape area or the sparse hairs that people have at side areas. and there are clients that dislike clipper- cut. and SOC(Scissors-Over- Comb) and COC(Clipper-Over-Comb) are brothers and compatible.

blackman9333 ~~ if you see all my videoes(about 100) on cutting, you can understand it. cutting hair is the same as artistic sculpting. and i use lay the comb the middle or the end of the hair or scalp to cut hair. in fact, this is for show scissors cut techniques i usally use electric clipper to cut short hair as faster and easier ways. thanks again for your question. greater days~

THIS is eactly the kind of "trim" i need so i can grow my hair perfect, i have no clue where i can get this expreteese and SOC stuff type of haircut, it would be nice..i have been buzzing my hair to the same length for many months now, gettin old. I want my hair done like this! :(

i think, if any hairdressors learn the exact basic SOC techninue, they do have best result whatever clients want. but someday every hairdressors can do this SOC techniuques, for the SOC techniques i use is the best way, according to my experience. if the better one exists, I 'LL discard my SOC and learn new one. and try to look for hairdressor around you, you can find him/her, i think. have great days and I WISH you find your hairdressor.
