  • Canucks fans are retarded. You people thought you had an all star goalie. haha. go burn down your city. AGAIN.

  • The fact that his career was cut so short and he had so many injuries within his career is just tragic. He is not only one of the most talented players in recent memory, but also may be the most exciting player the NHL has ever had. Easily the fastest skater I've ever seen, and it's not even close.

  • Reminds me of my boy Patrick Kane

  • Damn imagine how many goals this guy would have had if he was healthy an had a full career

  • lol on #10

  • Comment removed

  • i've seen many greate players play in real live but when you saw Bure explode on skates when you actually see it you understand tjat he was in he's own class

  • @CoachAsmono What do you mean canadians wont acknowledge his greatness? Every hockey fan in BC wants bure in the HHOF

  • Sergei Federov

    Alexander Mogilny

    Pavel Bure

    Best Russian Line Ever.

    BRLE.

  • Absolutely amazing player

  • the 14 dislikes are members of the hockey hall of fame committee

  • Every time the Canucks make the finals they have a moment 1982 Roger Nielson and the white flag. 1994 Bure in overtime and 2011 burrows finally beats chicago

  • Rofl at Bob Gainey at 0:30

  • if this guy was born in Ontario, played OHL and then the Leafs, he would have been crowned the best ever! But because he is Russian, Canadian Hockey fans won't even acknowledge his greatness.

  • he's the original fedorov, datsyuk, ovechkin, malkin, etc.

  • Who else has the McDonald's hockey card of #8 where the players move?

  • GET HIM IN THE HALL AND HANG HIS JERSEY UP.

Be man! Do da right fing!

  • I think Pavel will forever be my favorite hockey player. Best player in the league in my opinion when he played and better then every player in the league now.

  • :56 Luongo?

  • @thecdyrdr Jamie McLennan.

  • Id love to see him play with the sedins

  • the cauncks treated the guy like shit so he demanded to be traded

why can't canuck fans get over that

    they treated him like shit

he wasn't a gutless pussy who took thier abuse, he stood his ground like a man

  • If a healthy Bure played in this era, even at his age now he would still score 40-50 goals ala Selanne. But unfortunetly his knee went on several occasions but nobody brought the fans out of their seats like the Russian Rocket.

  • #4 was just unreal. Best of the bunch in my opinion.

  • 0:31 - epic face))

  • 3:13 - epic face))

  • Canucks are so wishing that Bure was still playing for them going into the Finals against Boston. Oh yeah let the trash talking begin!

  • 0:31

  • жаль, что такие игроки за Россию больше не играют. Овечкин и Ковальчук в подмётки ему не годятся

  • Паша-виртуоз

  • Even Bures Knees couldn't handle that speed :(

  • Comment removed

  • Can you guys believe he would still be playing right now if not for injuries? :(

  • How could they omit the one he got against the Rangers in 1994 where he passed it to HIMSELF from BEHIND THE NET???

  • ahead of his time; the moves he was doing in the 90s are only just becoming mainstream nowadays.

  • Most unstoppable player on all the NHL video games

  • @MrHoopsFanatic Best player in NHL 94 besides Roenick

  • @Cosmoforlife roenick was a beast on that game too but the bure "wraparound" move which got the goalie blocked automatically, unstoppable

  • I feel very lucky and proud to be able to say, I grew up watching Bure. Greatest player i have ever seen. Go Canucks

  • They don't make players like that anymore....

  • Were the 13 people that disliked this dropped on their heads ?

  • One of my favorite player, he was one of th emost entertaining players to ever play the game.

  • #2 is the most overrated goal ever. Seriously.

It was a pre-season game for one, and any 15+ year old player can perfect that move in about 20 minutes.

  • horrible quality but damn was bure a dirty man

  • Only Bure could somehow get himself a breakaway even with all the opposing team players in their zone.

  • LOL'D at Coach reaction to Bure's goal at 0:33

  • needs moar SELANNE

  • Some of those goals look like someone playing a hockey video game on easy mode.

  • #2 was Dirty!

  • damn bure is to good he won a caulder trophy and still holds the record for most points in a season by a rookie and he was a rookie with lidstrom n sackic

  • @Niskam

that'd be Teemu Selänne with 132 points (76+56).

  • Bure shits on Ovechkin.

  • Any Canuck fan will tell you that Pavel was the greatest player of all time. Yes the Sedins are amazing and Naslund and Trevor Linden also, but once he got the puck in his own end and started dazzling through players like they were standing still it got your heart racing so much because you knew something magical was about to happen. Its just a shame his knees went and had a few problems with Canuck management.

  • @manuraiders I'm sorry, greatest player of all time? Surely you mean greatest Canuck of all time...

  • @manuraiders I'm a Canucks fan, and I approve this message.

  • #1 was a two line pass

  • @DustyDinkleman26 you mean offside?

  • @DustyDinkleman26 that play couldn't be a two line it could be offside but a two line involves your own blueline not your opponents or that'd place you offside. he looked offside when i looked at it, nowadays refs would've called offside but hey still a nice goal whatever call may have been missed

  • @JeremySwass it wasnt offside if was a 2 line pass...the puck traveled over 2 lines before his teammate touched the puck therefore they missed the call

  • Perhaps the best skater ever

  • "the look on bob gaineys face says it all"

  • Эх Паша, как я по тебе скучаю старик. Ты маэстро!

  • Good luck sedin getting to his level.

  • Number 3 was seriously the best dude. That shouldve been #1. Freekin amazing!!!

  • GO RUSSIA!! RUSSIAN ROCKET SHOOTS IN YOUR PUSSY.

  • Fastest Player EVER..... PERIOD

  • Bure Top#3 goal is a pure magic!

  • 7 out of 10 of those goals were when he was in Vancouver.

  • and his jersey isn't retired in Vancouver why?

best player that frnachis has ever had

  • Jagr, Forsberg, Bure. There you have My europe line

  • @backaif Fedorv, Mogilny, Bure all the way :p

  • @sollostyles

    absolutely agree with you!!!

  • I have watched the canucks forever, bure is the most individually tallented canuck we will ever see.

  • MOST TALENTED CANUCK IN HISTORY

pure talent this guy. he was unreal. we were lucky to have him from the start.

  • LOL Bob Gainey = mindfuck

  • @hypercarbon

    too funny

  • Could you imagine him with the Sedins today? Defencemen would cry.

  • @shaunathinshavis

He wouldn't do well with the Sedinds. I think he would better with Kesler and Raymond/Tambellini

  • @NguyenAnhVu10 him always being open for one timers?

sedins + bure would equal gretz + bure in van

  • Bure one of my favorites player ever fabolous hockey player.....

  • 12 people must be ragheads

  • bure and jim robson deserve each other. great player great play caller

  • I wonder if Sasha liked Pasha when he was younger.

  • 0:55-0:57 the guys name is luongo 0.0

  • Could shoot the wings off a fly. Defined the term Sniper.

  • The BEST EVER!

  • I remember the skate-to-stick goal being number on on SportsCenter top 10. And that ladies and gentlemen, is when I began my love for hockey.

  • T.A.N.K JUST T.A.N.K

  • Gretzky may have been the greatest, but Bure by far was the most exciting, miss him dearly

  • JAGR + BURE + SELLANE = Best Europe players of all time

  • @predpis92 It's Selanne. You're list is so short it's not even funny, you've missed Stan Mikita, Peter Stastny, Jari Kurri, Borje Salming, Peter Forsberg, Lidstrom, Hasek... not to mention all the Russians from the 70's and 80's who never played in the NHL like Valeri Kharlamov, Vladislav Tretiak or Viacheslav Fetisov who also played for the Devils and is considered one of the best, if not THE BEST defenseman of all time.... Though I'd still take Bobby Orr!

  • @botter66 My list was built only from attackers. I dont want to argue with you, but everyone knows that Jaromir Jagr is the best European player of all time. Like the Canada has Wayne Gretzky, Europe has BIG J, J. J. or Mighty 68.

  • @predpis92 It is Selanne (as spelled on the shirt) or even more correctly, Selänne

  • @predpis92

If you add Forsberg to that list I agree!

  • #10 should've been #1! HAHA!

  • I watch this video almost everyday and my daughter is at the ranger game tonight wearing my #9 Bure Ranger Jersey, probably the only one at the Garden with that jersey on. My favorite of all time and to me the best player to lace them up, if he stayed healthy, nobody brought you out of your seat like the Russian Rocket.

  • does anyone know if Mike Bossy is in the hockey hall of fame?

  • You'd need a "TOP 50" to justify this guy and all the great plays he made.

  • @Safeco1999 yea and it would still be hard as fuck just to figure out which ones go where

  • thumbs up if you think 8 should be higher

  • I love his play, it's too bad, nothing in HD.

  • Best Canuck EVER

  • Best Russian of all time, but now alex the great has to prove me wrong, nobody was faster with the puck, and made the best defensemen in the league look human. Scott Stevens, Ray Borque, Nick Lidstrom and Brian Leetch just to name a few. But the Great 8 can top this as long as he is fortunate to stay healthy, but Pavel belongs in the Hall of Fame

  • @manuraiders Now.. but back then.. nobody did that shit.. it was new..

  • anybody notice after they show the guy at the front desk he crys? lol thumbs up if u saw

  • he has to be one of the fastest skaters ever to play the game

  • Some of those goals looked like goals scored on an EA NHL game. Unreal!!!

  • Throw bure in the new NHL where defence can't hook, hold etc..and the guy would have a million goals

  • @goodstuffohyeah Though defencemen are quite a bit better nowadays, positioning wise and skating wise. Also, goalies are far stronger.

  • One word: Incredible

  • If only he had reached his full potential and avoided injury...

  • The Russian Lemieux

  • Damn thoes weak knees of his... he would still be playing right now.

  • top 5 european nhl:ers of all time, not in order: bavel bure, jaromir jagr, teemu selanne, alex ovechkin, jari kurri

  • What made Bure so amazing was that he was able to put 50+ goals on Panthers team during the trap era. This guy knew how to adjust to the game and still put up numbers. Some ppl say he has no heart, but the 94 run said otherwise. Sure he's a selfish player, but his heart was there. When Greg Adams scored the winner, the expression on Bure's face was genuine. Bure gets too much of a bad rep here in Van, but as time passes, it seems ppl are forgiving him and remembering how good he was

  • 3 is my favorite, 2 is unbelievably fast

  • Best

  • One of the Top 4 all time in the League. Go Canucks Go!

  • Gretzky might've been the best in terms of points, but Bure was definitely the most entertaining by far.

  • how many times did bure change his jersey number? I saw 96,10 and 9. I think I saw 93 once too....

  • @tendresseak27 he never had 9 or 93, he was 10 then 96

  • @itsthizzbaby Correction, Bure wore #9 as a New York Ranger in the last two years of his career to honour Maurice "Rocket" Richard.

  • @aerorocket1096 My mistake, pal!

  • The greatest player of all time!

  • Hey when Bob Gainey makes that face he looks just like Al Bundy LMAO!!!

  • Attn S.Crosby: ...This is what a real goal scorer is.

  • Awesome player! Hope he makes the HOF soon!

  • pavel was a god playing against losers

  • @lowaces you can say the same about gretzky cuz he played against a bunch of garbage goaltenders

  • @GSBELKA i don't think gretzky played against garbage goaltenders or else the scores in all the games would have been 20- 18

    it was a different era

  • @GSBELKA then why didnt other players have such high points. Only one player has even come close to his top seasons and that is Lemieux with 199 points in a season after that there is like a 50 point gap. Gretzky and Lemieux are just the best of the best no questions asked.

  • Chris Luongo

    Defense

Selected by Detroit Red Wings round 5 #92 overall 1985 NHL Entry Draft

    1995-96 New York Islanders NHL 74 3 7 10 55 ----------

  • Wow ur right it does say Loungo imma look it up

  • imagine what bure can do today after they eliminated the center red line.

  • and with the new rules

  • pause at 0:57, does that say luongo?

  • the human highlight reel

  • i love how he was the fastest skater in the league and smoked 2 packs a day in the offseason, and sometimes during the season.

  • haha, really? never heard that

  • i remember back in the day people used to debate jagr vs. bure for being the best player. 10 years later, new penguin, new russian, and hockey is good again :-)

  • RIP? WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU.

  • LOL. I dont think he meant "RIP" as in Rest In Peace... I think, and I could be wrong, he meant it as in the "RIP, the NHL misses you."

    Even though he isnt dead.

  • What...

  • Bure opened the door for russian players like AO and Alex Semin, A little of Bure is in both of those young guns, one day a little of AO and Semin will be left for the next generation of Russian Player. Evolution is a bitch.

  • haha a little SEMIN will be left haha thats definently what she said! haha :)

  • #9 was just so sweet. Russian rocket gone airborn!! lol

  • #2 is just plain nasty

  • agreed #2 was super clean

  • I remember seeing the 1st game he played. It was against the Winipeg Jets. He took the puck at his own blueline, skated through every Jet on the ice and went one on one with the goalie. That play he did everything except score

  • Please resend the video with better quality!!!

  • # 2 reminds me of when I saw a video of an

F1 car vs an m5 and the f1 just blows it away. Those other players look like beer league players who've just had a few beers. Ridiculous!

If you put wings on him he would fly. I just picked up some vapor 10's like him I hope I can go half as fast. BURE...FTW!

  • The most exciting player to watch ive ever seen.

  • Bure was a hero for canucks he was such a finish player i wish he could still be here Go Canucks Go

  • Still waiting to see when he makes the hall of fame. He is one of the greatest players ever.

  • @DeadKennedysNirvana8 he was so good it was unreal

  • @DeadKennedysNirvana8

Injuries ruined his career, but Bure was the most exciting player ever to play hockey. He's the reason I got into the sport in the first place. I was a member of his fan club and my parents still have all of my memorabilia boxed away somewhere. I miss him.

  • @spewintothis thats true about the injuries but neely got into the hall but the problem with bure is he moved around alot and i thought his best years were in florida. i dont think the all time panther greats and the well known hockey lovers of south beach are enough for him to get in. hopefully he does though at times he was unstoppable no matter who was on his line or what team he was on

  • @pat442389

his best years were definitely not in florida

  • number 3 is sick!

  • #3 was sick. and lol at 0:31

  • one of the fastest and most talented players to ever play the game... he is the human highlight reel.

  • bure was a dominating player, too bad Canucks couldn't pull it off in 94

  • if bure wasnt injured he would be amazing, he is the fastest skater and the best stick handler, even tho he doesnt have datsyuk moves, his speed and stick control 10 times more then any1 else

  • If only Kovalev had the drive to win that Bure did.

  • If only Bure got to play in the "New NHL." If only

  • He was one of the best pure snipers i`ve ever seen...thanks for this vid..

  • For some reason he reminds me of Ovechkin.

  • @PureLtFan ovie dosent come close to this guy

  • lol probly cause theyre amazing and russian :P

  • Prob cause he can dangle like ovechkin, he is russian and scored 50 goals in a year otherwise idk haha

  • Such is life, eh? The team management played more than a few games with him, too.

Still an incredible one-way player in the NHL. I think his most impressive year was his first healthy season with florida, scoring 58 goals in the middle of what was basically the lowest scoring year, all time. He was the goal leader by 14 goals that season which was flat out unbelievable. Next year he got 59, but scoring was up markedly.

Shame for the knee injuries, he lost too many years, or we'd see 700.

  • Uh. It's depressing. The Canucks got so close to the cup with that guy. Then he was plagued with injuries. Got traded and that was it.

  • absolute pure scorer
