Christians have no idea what they are talking about. They are going on appearances. To anyone out there, if you want to adopt, then adopt. I am sure that you will be blessing someones life, and that's what counts.

actually, Christians have a long tradition of taking care of orphaned children as singles. In the middle ages, the nuns used to do it. More recently, they can serve as house mothers and such. I think it isn't so much a question of can or even ought, but if you can really handle it. Single parenthood is not for the faint of heart. At least everyone gets the love they deserve.

Yes, this is true. I was talking about the people who criticized it, just because it didn't fit in with their ideals. True godliness is taking care of those in need.
