first you should buy a new RAM card (i have a 2GB RAM card and it laggs a lot when i'm on a 4 vs 4 skirmish so i would say go get a 4 GB). also, you should get a core quad or a core duo processor (an intel core duo of 3.16 GhZ is a really good deal it makes your comp having 6.32 GHZ of power). finally you should get a new graphic card, NVIDIA makes very good stuff, personaly i have a NVIDIA GEforce 8800 GTX and i can run games such as guild wars WoW and supreme commander without problems

Kickass vid. But I always wondered jsut why in the heck people keep on wasting time fielding Loyalists? They've becomes less than useful in FA. I mean, they're just SO easy to kill, and they damage everything around them when they DO die.

Bricks are better, tougher an' with longer range, plus nigh-equal firepower, they can bring more guns to bear on a target, effectively killing it faster than Loyalists could.

That, and having them come up from the depths in surprise is nice. Back-door raid!!!

Yeah that's pretty true. It sucks though because I'd say loyalists are my favorite non-experimental land unit, but now almost everything is stronger than them.

I have since found a use for Loyalists. Spam.

They make for a good Tech 3 infinite-build-spam. At one third the resource and time costs than Bricks, and with slightly better firepower, they're like the Mech Marine March on steroids. Tying up the enemy, and wearing down those slow-moving Colossi as you start to crank out Wailers or Rebels... or just run away to a support base (if you have one).

Percivals are the best units to take on a base, Bricks are more versatile but Percys take more punishment before they go down and i think Percivals are slightly faster too

Loyalists are absolutely toss, without a word of a lie, I had a Cyrban commander and an Allie's same Cyrban command under a couple of quickly knock up shields both with Beam laser, defend against 40+ Loyalists, we just cut them down one of after the other, they just couldnt touch us

Engh. I dislike the new Percival amphibious unit. You got no underwater capability, which means that they're fodder for even a tech 1 submarine. Plus, I've found that they have trouble in large or even medium groups in assaulting anything not on flat ground. Their cannons can actually do friendly fire damage with the splash. The splash means that this is a threat not only to those aroudn them, but potentially themselves.

it actualy works rather well on my computer. i can get up to about 250 units before it starts lagging but after that your really screwed the thing lags horribly but my computer isnt the great so i imagine any proccesor better than single core 2ghz should play it very well.
