@ragebreeder Yeah Idk I didn't enjoy 4 that much. I only played through it once whereas I usually play through these games multiple times. The ghosts annoyed me too much, there weren't any good puzzles, and it just didn't have the magic of the other games.

i don't know... silent hill 5 is a really good game, no doubt (i think even better than resi 5), but somehow it didn't reached the class of silent hill 1-4 (team silent was just so unique, too many ideas of them got copied in sh5 instead bringing in something new). but the misic is ass-kicking again, thanks to akira yamaoka (brought us one of the best vg soundtracks EVER: "room of angels"), this man is a genius, i love his music.

Mmmh,i'm not totally agree with you,because in my opinion S.H.3 is the best,of course after S.H.1,but the worst Silent Hill,by now is Silent Hill Shattered Memories,starts well,ends horrrible. Ends of totally way out from S.H.1. But,the end it's like saying that the Bad Ending in S.H.1 it's the real ending.

But,me,as a great fan of Silent Hill,i love all the their saga's games. Only that ones more than others.

In my opinion, there is nothing Silent Hill related that is in any way mediocre. Not even Shattered Memories. Except for the comics. Those sucked. But everything else is just awesome and it doesn't matter if it was made by Americans or Japanese.

Executioners in Silent Hill had ceremonial robes similar to Pyramid Head. They manifested from these executioners for people that felt they needed a kind of punishment, for something they know they did but won't admit it. James knew he killed his wife, but wasn't about to admit it to himself, so Pyramid Head was manifested to torture James and help him see the truth in his wrong doings. Btw, love the melody of this song.

Yes and no. If you looked in one of the SH games (can't remember which one, it's been awhile), you'd find a painting of a figure that looks like Pyramid Head. It seems as though there was an executioner or muderer in Silent Hill's history that looked like him, and that's why he's present as a figure (Boogeyman, James' Pyramid Head) in the series.
