  • Most people probably came here because of Birgirpall. HOLY SHIT the comment below mine is here because of Birgirpall too :D

  • Birgirpall :D

  • No this version to long, booring and stupid. The orginal song version is better. :/

  • this rocks numannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

  • Now this is extremely funky and I love it because it's longer. Tjam*

  • I am so jealous of his coat in the first picture...

  • this version is too fucking christmasy or something

  • 2:10 say hello to the "Green Day" singer .-)

  • Thanks for all of the responses. I had no idea this music vid I created would be so popular. I love both versions actually. But this one is so clubby and danceable and still sticks to the awesome original concept.

  • No, original is WAY better. This sounds like a joke.

  • Nip/Tuck brought me here

  • N joyed

  • Orig is better.

    Too much crap @ start.

    (He doesn't sing until 2:26!)

    Remix = Worse than original.

  • GTA Vice City brought me here!

  • orig is better by far

  • @saganemc2 Orig is *far* better than this.....I mean, th4e song doesn't really get started until practiclly two minutes into the mix

  • @cmmolthr RIGHT!

  • no way .the extra cakey keyboards at the beginning blow. Not horrible but not as good as the original

  • FF cover is the best.

  • @misfit13091 I just "found" the Fear Factory cover of this song. I remember hearing it a time or two, but never knew who it was. Great version. I very much dig the remix with Gary Numan and Fear Factory. It may be the best of both worlds.

  • Aaah haaa! Bust out the parachute pants & high tops, this ROCKS!

  • yeah, no this version is waaaaaay better than the original (Y)

  • I've always loved this version. I just noticed hints of We take mystery, one of my all time Numan favorites. (Numan concert tongiht :) )

  • It's pretty good if you really don't have a clue about music in general. Like color versions of old movies you don't get a thing about cinema.

  • Full Respect ! ! ! ! Nothin seems ! !

  • Thinner than the original? Obviously you don't have both of these tracks on original vinyl sources to really check, because I do, and I've listened to them back-to-back recently on a decent system, and holy crap this version is 10 times punchier and fuller sounding. I still love the original, but I find it more charming because of the sparse, thin sound of the mix, while this remix gives my stereo a real workout, while still being at least somewhat faithful to the original.

  • ok this sucks

  • Try linking your pc to a large amp system and then play this from 1:10 with plenty of bass. Then tell me which version is best!!!

  • wow AWESOME alternative DARK WAVE absolutely fantastic

  • I agree. [This is] the best recording . Thanks. -s

  • The reason that remakes are never as good as the original is... if the original wasn't fantastic to begin with, we wouldn't have heard of it and it wouldn't have BEEN remade!

  • polymoog for me,baby. cant beat the original!

  • @1hotdilf Polymoog= Gary Numan, Awesome

  • This sounds like to the 'motorway' version with drums. Nice!

  • It's good, but the use of Digital Synths as opposed to pure Analogs (Minimoog, Polymoog, Arp Odyssey) really take something away from the mix.... The original was better, me thinks.

  • @TheSYNTHOID The original will always be the best. AND HAVE A SPECIAL PLACE IN MY HEART!!!

  • @TheSYNTHOID

everything done in analog sounds better. even the stage microphones of yesteryear made live perfomances sound bettrer and louder.

  • no where near the power of the original

  • By 1987, synthesizers had gone all digital. that explains the thin sound in this.

The original 1979 version with the real analog Polymoog sounds the best!

  • my favorite remix of one of the truly great songs ever

  • original is the best adding all this stuff doesnt make it better fo rme thumbs down

  • The only and by far I think the best remix so far I've had heard on the radio of our car. My family started dancing around inside when this turned on. Good times, good times. Haha.

  • Probably a tad controversial, but i agree - the 87' remix is better than the original.

  • @dcmachman This one is more "party dancing" friendly but the original is still great. to dance to. -s
