@zukodude487987 c'mon of course what you eat has to play a role in getting leaner! As far as time constraints go, I don't have much empathy there either: I'm a full-time airline pilot, father, husband, fitness professional and own a home and all the chores that entails. There's ALWAYS time to train!
@zukodude487987 nobody said it is going to be easy, and it is a constant battle for a while until it becomes "a method of life". The secret is finding ways to make exercise FUN...sounds like for you maybe hiking in the beauty of nature?
@maxewiii The only time i managed to make it fun was when i went to the gym with my friend, but he wanted to take a few months off and it stayed that way.
So i go to the gym by myself and there is not much that has motivated me.
Im a great artist, but i can't combine art and gym. The only connection is that some big art projects take alot of energy, but i don't have that many big projects.
...of our muscles known as subcutaneous body fat. Applying a combo of both strength AND cardio training has been and always will be the most effective way to become leaner, not to mention diet!
Lifting does NOT directly burn fat during exercise as it uses carbs/glycogen for fuel. However it yields a post-exercise recovery metabolism elevating effect as your muscles repair & as I stated increases your resting metabolic rate RMR over time. Cardio will directly use fat for fuel, but the higher-intensity you go more glycogen. High-intensity cardio has the most exercise value & burns the most calories in an alloted amount of time. We all have subcutaneous body fat lying over top...
@sindher1 hmmm how to keep this a short answer?!...I would say over all that your friend is WRONG. More great advice eh?! You need to always a combo of both strength & cardio training simultaneously as your BEST approach to improving lean-body mass. For instance, even if you lost NO fat, but gained muscle, you have in fact still improved your 'Lean-Body-Mass'. And, the additional muscle mass is useful for increasing your resting metabolism, so you can burn more fat at rest and during sleep!
Great information. I prefer to be very powerful and strong looking. I am training to lose the bodyfat around my waist without losing my impressive muscle mass. I don't like looking ordinary. Not having great muscle mass is ordinary to me, even if abs are ripped. Like Franco Columbo. He had no omentum fat, but he also looked like he could snap anybody in half!
Thank you! Very informative. :o)

Oh sure, saying that you should eat food with less fat, thats like telling a smoker to stop smoking. Its just not that easy.

@zukodude487987 ?? I believe I do not say this in my video. Interesting. I believe I indicate it's a "lifestyle approach".

@maxewiii Well you do mention that you need to diet and thats exactly what i mean.
Dieting takes alot of change and motivation.
I once was pretty lean with a healthy lifestyle, but it was ALOT of work.
I hardly had free time, and when i did, i used it for sleeping.
The only thing that i hated about this lifestyle was that it didnt change anything.
I felt like nothing in my life was diffirent, exept that i had less free time.

@maxewiii well at the moment im trying regain my leaner-self, but its really hard since its still very exhausting.
For example today i walked a total of 10 kilometers+ i went to the gym.
Now i feel like a wreck, although ive been mostly consuming water and ive been trying to stay away from food with high value in fat.

Great video bro! Can you please tell me how should I reduce the "dangerous internal body fat" ?
Is it more to do with diet or are there specialised training methods? thanks :)
