Never heard a bad Tool song, Adam is friends with my mum, went to the same highschool and college she studied criminology and he studied art, I've met him a couple times really chill dude, very soft spoken guy and I have a hearing problem so it's embarassing saying "WHAT!!" every 5 seconds to such a God oddly enough we never even talk about Tool, I've talked to him a few times about comics and fyi Hulk could kick superman's ass cuz Adam said so
this is my favorite album by far. maynard is a lyrical genius! my CD was old and skipping, so i found the only copy in a small store in Salem, MA. this entire CD is brilliant...and this song is amazing that he knows enough about the human brain and human condition through his own trials and tribulations. <3 him! :)
I've see tool six times live. And every time it has been like a religous experience = BEST FUCKING LIVE BAND EVER!!!!! IF you have not seen them, take 10 hits of acid and go whack your fucking yack!!! then multiply that by 100, and you may come close to the feeling you get being @a really good live tool show. But, if you do not like tool you can suck the sweat off my ASSCRACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BYEBYE!!
I think one of the reasons why this album is so underrated is due to the critical success of Lateralus. Both albums are equally great in my opinion, but Lateralus is the one that is usually recognized.
@Aridcreaturehere Lateralus isn't as cohesive as Aenima and there is too much attention focused on the brain/maths in that 2001 release rather than the raw emotion found in Aenima.
@alxk78 - i agree mostly. ""Aemina"" is tied with ""Wish You Were Here"" from Pink Floyd. the thing to do is get stoned to both of these cds in the same session.
underrated??? by whom?...people who dont listen to good music?...all i know that it wasnt underrated in circles i run in, and when they toured for it, i had to wait in a long ass line to get tickets...so this underrated you talk about, i never heard that before about it
umm... wut? this is one of the most popular albums in the modern era of music... idk about underrated... I'd say 10k days is a much more underrated album @whootyhoo101
I choose to live and to Grow, take and give and to Move, learn and love and to Cry, kill and die and to Be paranoid and to Lie, hate and fear and to Do what it takes to move through. I choose to live and to Lie, kill and give and to Die, learn and love and to Do what it takes to step through.
the only bad part of tool is that each one of their songs are the same... they all have a part like this 6:43
