  • You'd get more views if you had some nice looking women on you videos instead of old white guys. I agree with you principals, but you need to Fox it up a bit! I didn't even watch the first minute!

  • Idiotic to be talking about GE not paying taxes. I'm fairly certain if you lost money on a stock or house sale you'd utilize that deduction in your tax return. Uh...I think GE lose enormously in the financial meltdown in 2009...

  • We do not live in a democracy, we live in a republic! Get it right!

  • @IamRayson It's not a republic if it's not a democracy.

  • @fleskebille there is a major difference between a democracy and the republic that we live in. In our republic we have certain God given rights that are not be infringed upon by our fellow man. In a simple democracy any matter can be put to a vote, like what car you drive, how much money you make, who you marry, and what you eat. Democracy only respects the right of the majority. Democracy is not freedom. Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to eat for lunch.

  • HOW ABOUT KICKING OUT ALL THE MUSLIMS THAT HATE AMERICA AND GIVING THE JOBS TO AMERICANS THAT SUPPORT AMERICAN VALUES:)

  • Of course they will fall for Obama's stimulus. And those who don't will fall for the Republican's stimulus plan.

  • Generally speaking, Michele malkin is an ignorant blowhard. She spews venomous, intolerant rhetoric to make a buck, while failing to realize the only reason her ass is on TV is for her "colored" person stamp of approval on the frequently ignorant, hateful, and religiously and ethnically oppressive agenda of Fox News. I hope she gets interned.

  • Everyone should read Hazlitt's "Economics in One Lesson". Then, follow it up with Rothbard's "Man, Economy, and State".

  • Fire all the thousands of government workers hired by Obummer. Eliminate the EPA, the Dept of Ag, Ed. Turn the entire border with Mexico into bases and training zones for the military. Put military recruiting offices, and farm reps. right there on the border, since some of the best troops we have are Latino, and ALL the best farm/ranch/dairy workers.

  • To use Maxine Waters' own words, she can "go to Hell".

  • maxine waters also threatened to socialize, um... nationalize the oil market.

  • are you guys going to cover the post office situation at all? just wonderin

  • I believe you actually meant the 16th amendment. Other than that, total agreement.

  • I guess it's true, "even a broken watch is right at least twice a day", or, "even a blind squirrel can find an acorn every once in a while". an actual fact was uttered by one of the PJTV pundits, a.k.a (talking heads).

The Fair-Tax isn't perfect... but it's Far better than a flat tax or the crappy tax system that Ronald Reagan left in place, and "supposedly tried to simplify" in 1986.

  • @theylied1776 You mean Ronald Reagan's Democrat controlled Congress.

  • @HayPennie No, I mean Republican President Ronald Wilson Reagan.

Reagan put together his own Blue Ribbon Tax Research Committee, Tip O'Neill and the Congress had a different plan altogether, but the Bill that made it through Committee, both Houses of Congress and eventually signed into Law by President Reagan... was the one his committee came up with.

Your partisanship can't hold a candle to actual history!

  • @theylied1776 Blue Ribbon Committees, especially those ran by Democrats, always fail to do anything substantive. It's a bit unfair to blame anything on Reagan in this instance because he actually trusted the belt-way insiders, especially Democrats, to do the right and practical thing when there are no such things in politics since politicians, especially Democrats, do not operate on real metrics. It serves govt. to have a complicated tax scheme.

  • @theylied1776 Partisanship is a good thing, as long as it isn't arbitrary. And neither you or I are being arbitrary - just a slight disagreement on detail. At any rate, although Reagan's tax reform legislation contained many key concepts from his own vision, it still contained compromises due to the democrat majority in the House, which was necessary to secure its passage. It was still a comparatively simplified code that gave the US the lowest marginal tax rates of any major economy. Cheers.

  • @HayPennie How exactly have I been "partisan"?

In 86' the Democrats were perfectly happy leaving the Tax Code exactly as it was, where the Top Tax Rate was 90%. When the Bill made it to the floor the Dem's argued they had already made too many concessions with the 81' Kemp-Roth tax Act. And, the "only" changes to the 86' Tax Bill were on tax shelters and deductions. two changes to a Tax Bill is not a compromise.

The Dem's had a majority, but the 86' Tax Bill was all Reagan.

    Nice try.

  • @theylied1776 Honey read my comment again, I didn't accuse you of being partisan, just the opposite. You'd made reference to my supposed partisanship, remember? I replied that neither of us were, but were merely debating detail. And you're wrong about the '86 Tax Act - it contained many Democrat provisions which had to be inserted in order to get it passed the house; that's how gov't operates. The act would not have passed if it had only Reagan's provisions; it was bipartisan all the way.

  • @HayPennie You implied partisanship with the comment: "Partisanship is a good thing, as long as it isn't arbitrary, And neither you or I are being arbitrary". context is everything, Princess.

Please enlighten me, what exactly were these "compromises due to the democrat majority", other than a reduction of multiple Tax Shelters and Deductions?

Again, a couple of addendums (provisions) to a document does not a Compromise make! ask any Lawyer.

  • @theylied1776 You Began: "Your partisanship can't hold a candle to actual history", Then I said: "Partisanship is a good thing, as long as it isn't arbitrary, And neither you or I are being arbitrary". Then u said: "How exactly have I been "partisan"? Then I said: "... I didn't accuse you of being partisan, just the opposite." If u can't even follow or recall your own goofy statements, it's no wonder you can't follow history. Look Up: Legacy lost: Ronald Reagan's tax simplification.

  • @HayPennie Again , you implied partisanship within the context of your comment: "partisanship is a good thing, as long as it isn't arbitrary, And neither you or I are being arbitrary". don't tell me that you don't understand what the words "Context and Imply" mean? Is English your 2nd Language?

I'm still waiting for you to tell me what exactly were these "so called compromises or provisions" that the Dem's made to the 86' Reagan Tax Bill. you made the claim, now back it up.

  • Duct tape was about $5 in Jefferson County, Colorado where I live, last I checked at Ace Hardware. I don't remember how long ago that was... maybe the beginning of the summer?

  • 9/11 What did we get right? The government of the City & State of New York has proven that 9/11 was NOT an inside job! How did they prove that? World Trade Center Tower 7 was rebuilt in 2002 w/o government involvement. After 9 YEARS no one in government could rebuild World Trade Center Towers 1 & 2. Instead they settled for putting a 9/11 memorial at ground zero. I wish 9/11 was an inside job because 3,000 people would still be alive today! Why can't we Unionize terrorists?

  • How about lowering unemployment by making Obama unemployed?^^

(It's just important that the next US-President isn't even worse than BHO because that's about what happened at the end of 2008: too many people thought that anyone would do a better job than Bush junior - but they were wrong)

  • @hammondtree Very good point. Kudos!

  • @hammondtree It doesn't matter who gets the job in 2012, they will be a puppet just like all the others.

  • @mcap52 except ron paul i'm guessing u r thinking.

  • I heard that Vodka Pundit @3:00

  • @maskedphrogg hahaha i did too

  • Hey Trifecta, youtube is playing an anti collective bargaining reform ad for Ohio before your video.

Ohioans, don't be mislead by union thugs! Vote YES on Issue 2!

  • @revolutionUSA2009 I plan on it!

  • @revolutionUSA2009 I just saw an ad for a movie called "Red State" before this video, which didn't seem to be in praise of conservative values.

  • @revolutionUSA2009

Oh, so you're jealous that someone else is working hard and has a better job than you with more benefits? Isn't that too bad you lazy sloth. Since teabaggers tout the corporatists and big business so much, why are they sitting on gobs and gobs of dough and not paying their workers appropriately? Oh, I know why. Because they don't have a union. Keep drinking the teabagger's Kool-Aid LOLOL
