Crotons are beautiful and such a variety! All shapes and colour combinations. I have a croton plant but the disgusting white mealybugs attack it all the time. On many occasions, I've attempted to uproot it but hesitated. It's sort of surrounded by concrete so I guess that's why the lower leaves fall off. It's quite pathetic but hope springs eternal.

this plant is hard for me to care for. i have bought about 5 of them and the leaves just die and fall off regularly!!! i can't resist buying them.
