No he was angry at the way Pompey had been killled... Caesar knew that Pompey would have o die. But to see his rival's body humiliated, executed by egyptians, infuriated him. Pompey was Caesar's rival and equal, and Caesar was pissed that Pompey had been so humiliated, when Caesar did respect him.
