What a great tribute and a great cut of that song. I grew up listening to Larry Norman, saw him many times in concert and he's still one of my favorite musicians. I love how his music cuts to the heart of the message of salvation and God's love.
I was searching Youtube to find Larry Norman. today is 2/23/09 at 11:50 pm. Tears are running down my face to learn of your passing. Thank you Larry for always knowing that God is truely good but I am so sorry christian leaders let you down so often. Give Jesus and my Son a hug for me. Thank you for showing me Christ. Your music cut to my soul. If anyone has the recordings from "street level" please post them. Love what you did for us. Tamie
Thank you Stewze for the best tribute to Larry Norman I have seen yet. I was saved through his ministry. He was greatly unappreciated, but fought the good fight of faith. When he preached it was under such an annointing. No fluff, all real stuff. I miss a very gifted prophet of God.
yeah, i covered "i wish we'd all been ready", i would have liked to have done a better job with it. maybe i'll re-do it sometime. I think i covered him around the time of his death.
I'm glad we have his music,lyrics,videos. I remember singing this song in college choir at Modesto First B around '74. I'm sure this is what Larry wants us all to be "singing" in our lives. Thank-you God for Larry's life and ministry. And thank-you stewze for this video.
I was truly blessed to hear Larry's music years ago. He brought me to the Lord and I am truly grateful for his music helping me thru the most difficult times. I love you brother and miss you much. Take His hand, He will guide us, in another land.

Thanks mate. He truly was an amazing man, and it's great to see how much he has affected us now, although the churches didn't like him back then.
