Israel is a prison state plagued with xenophobic paranoid racists, bigots and fascists. The Israel you set out to visit may have existed thousands of years ago according to scriptures or what have you. Regrettably, no such state exists today. You should look read up on Ethiopian and Somalian "Black Jewry" and how they "coexist" with other Jews in Israel. It will certainly bring you up to speed on the myth that we know today as Israel.

Horrible, but that's how our airport security works. This is not very humane, some may call it "racist", but indeed, if you have a Muslim name, you better come in an organized tour, or if you even make an accidental move that will even cause the slightest suspicion to the eye of the most untrained guard, they'll simply send you back without even twitching about it. However, if you don't have a Muslim name, chances are you'll clear customs faster than in the U.S. You needed to get on a tour.
